Here are a couple of my Ferraris after a wheel swap. I think that these rims look better than the rims they originally came with. Plus, the Dub rims are slightly smaller than the WHIPS rims.

Ugh. I'm not one to dog someone's hobby, but of all the DUBBS cars I've seen, how the hell can anyone look at this perversion of such a beautiful Ferrari and think it's cool?

Bottom line, some cars are better left UNTOUCHED. I wouldn't put 22" Spinners on my brand new Murcielago, nor would I change a single thing on a Modena...

Personally I think it looks horrible. Those rims are way to big for a car like that. 👎
I agree. The result is like a charicature of the original car. The equivalent of drawing John Kerry with really huge hair, or Jay Leno with an enormous chin. Overexaggeration, and it ruins the car.

I like the wheels on the white Ferrari. Did you use photoshop to get that backround? If you did, you did a good job with it. 👍 Dont take their criticism to heart. Everyone has their own opinions.

I wasn't criticizing Eric W himself, only this certain DUBs model, and the act of perverting a true Italian beauty.

They look like they sit too high to me. And it's so unrealistic, the tires would rub the inner wheel well over the slightest bump.

Everyone's criticism is greatly apprieciated, positive or negitive. Everyone has their own personal tastes and opinions. The only reason I did these mods is because the think the Whips series rims are too large. The Dubs rims are slightly smaller but, I agree, they are still kind of big.

I really do wish someone or some company would make wheel kits with 18 or 19 inch rims. But right now I have to settle for the Dub rims kit which appear to be 22 or 24 in size.

The background in my pictures is real, the photos are taken outside in my backyard. The road section is something that I made to photograph my models on. :)

Your backyard looks a lot like our scenery right now in Michigan. Lots of colorful trees. Anyway you did a good job with the pics. Nice creative imagination. 👍

Actually they are an improvement of the original rims that are on the WHIPS, they were larger than the dubs, by a bit....
