Who cares about trading...

I'm beginning to get tired of seeing people cry about the limit on trading. Trading is pointless anyway...

The limit is a good move - it is to stop idiots duping cars and cheating.

Stop crying and play the game properly.

I care about trading, and I don't think duping is cheating. To me, proper gameplay means you use cars equal to or worse than what the AI is using, and try to drive reasonable cleanly. Duping doesn't enter the "proper gameplay" equation.

Also, for all we know this could be a quick fix they're using until they can get eBay to pull down auctions of ingame cars. $50 for an X2010 you could get for horns and paints here? They might as well be robbing the buyer.

Im with you white and nerdy.. I personally think the drastic measure they first took was an answer to the selling off of normal in-game cars for real money..ebay or other..

They only gave us this window for over 1 Mil cars to sort everything out presumably for people who had already bought cars from people or legit gifts that people had loaned out to get them back.

If the OP knew anything about duping they would know that this doesn't stop it at all and that PD really isnt bothered about the duping or they would have come up with this (or another fix) earlier than this.

Wait people actually spend real money on buying cars for the game that isn't DLC? Where are these people, I have a truck load of space to sell. Holy crap why would anyone part with money to get these things? Gaming is turning into ridiculous nonsense.

 Why spend so much of your time to actually get an expensive car, and end up giving it away for nothing?

Who said anything about expensive? Maybe his friend just needs a truck for the event. He'll never use his truck again so he wants to send it away to someone who will. Maybe a car showed up in the UCD the friend has been waiting for.

Maybe someone can play more often than their friend, if they already own all the cars they want so no sense in hoarding fake money.

IMO true friends wouldn't be stingy to each other about fake virtual cars. 👎

Guys, you know, it's only restricted to cars 1 million and above. There are hundreds of cars below that price that people will probably still dupe and gift/trade to their friends. The only loss really is gifting/trading expensive race cars. Yes, that's a big loss as there are lots of 1 million plus racing machines, but we still have a lot of other cars below that value to work with... including trucks.

I'm not crying I already completed my collection. I feel bad for the ones who will now be unable too. Doesn't it bother the anti-dupers that some of us completed our collection already. Show me someone who has a complete garage that did not dupe or trade. The new update makes it even more exclusive for having a complete collection. Now the hardcore dupers are rewarded. Just my thoughts.
Eheh I also have almost all cars thanks to duping:tup: While I'm now having fun with my Pescarolos and so on the OP is complaining about our ability to be smart:idea:
Friend (not HOODFIELD. but the OP), if you want these cars, you have to "turn left"
Happy grinding

Whilst I don't agree entirely with the OP I do agree that people need to give it a rest. All I ever read about these days is trading this, duping that, it's getting tiresome.

If you were actually tired of seeing people complain about it then you shouldn't give those people an additional venue to do so.

Complaining about a complaint only cause more of the original complaints.

The cycle of tears.

To spare people from actually playing the game? :indiff:

I can't really consider something like A-Spec playing the game. Where is the fun? Or the racing? If it had been left out of GT5, I wouldn't have been missing anything. I probably would have liked the game more.

I'm sure you've noticed that some people have opinions like this.

I still don't consider it as playing the game properly.

You're going into A-spec mode, which purpose is to allow the player to race, and using two rubber bands to race for you so you're not actually playing and thus, not playing the way the game was intended. Just like duping.

I'm not against either duping or A-spec auto-grinding. It's just funny when people say to play the game properly now when there are people doing the latter.

Why don't you 🤬 off then? Sorry, not into losing my sanity by going around an oval for 10 hours strait just to buy a 330 P4 "legit". Better yet, since you like Forza 3 more, why don't you just play that then? The elitist ass holes on this forum...jeez.

Ontopic: I care about trading. I don't do it much, but I'm sure people don't want to grind all the time for a 4 mil Cr. car and would rather trade for it rather than give up on the economy. Who cares about people that don't care about trading...

But A-Spec is the main game? Take that away and what are you left with?

Seriously, cool your jets man. FYI, I duped a lot before the 1.07 patch and I auto-grind A-spec from time to time. My point was, both methods were not intended by the developers, and since auto-grinding is still possible, people should quit saying "Play the game properly!" when people can still do the latter.

Didn't intend to ruffle any feathers. :)

And I'll change my sig once there are more things to do in GT5 and once online is improved. (Matchmaking, permanent leaderboards, etc.)

Racing, via online. IMO, that is the main game. It's the only reason I'd put the disc in my PS3, and the only reason I bought GT5 anyway. If for some reason, online permanently went down, I'd either do free runs from time to time or use the disc as a frisbee. I'm being serious when I see either beats racing in A-Spec.

I couldn't give a rats 🤬. I only wanted one thing out of the last update but it didn't happen, so until PD release an update for the AI I'm playing F1 2010 👍

The limit is a bad move - it is to stop idiots from whining about duping cars and their so-claimed cheating.

Stop crying and let others play the game in their own proper way.
