Well I see where your going with that, even though it wasn't originally an 8 bit avatar.

Has anyone here noticed M5Power has changed his username and he has even gone through and "blanked out" a lot of his threads, some of which dating as far back as 2002, the kinds only I tend to take notice of. :odd:

Anyway, on topic I miss vandenal, he used to be fairly active when I started here and even when I was lurking the forums months before I signed up here. I know he said earlier in this thread that he was keeping his posting down but he doesn't get on as often as he used too. I wonder what he has been up to lately.

Life my friend, I had been going through a rough time and I've just been trying to get back on track. I missed a bunch of school so I'm busy, otherwise I'd be on here more. But I'll try to make it on here more often 👍

@miata13B - Sorry to snoop, but you disappear for 6 years and it turns out you've been hiding in the GT6 forum for months. Welcome back!

/old stalker
Who moi? Lol yeah I was stalking for quite some time old buddy :-). Never really had the time to get back into it over the past 6 years. GT5 actually brought me back stalking, hopefully not against the AUP using a different username.

What happened to @Snoop? Just wondering about the sorry message.

Also I see quite a lot of the old timers still around, but I don't see @milefile or @LoudMusic around since I have stealthy returned.

This thread needs a milefile reference.
there is a reference old friend :-)

Snoopyroofgut comes by every so often, but the last two have been effectively missing for the past 5 years. :(

I'll beer you right away Sir ;-), your just not standing at my bar right now waiting to get served... so Mile and Loud stopped hanging around a year after I left the poor digital world huh? You still down south?

@1X83Z is indeed strangely silent, no posts since January 2009 :odd:
Yea it kind makes me sad when a old member changes his username, especially someone as well known as him. While he may be silent, he has gone through a lot of his threads and edited out his original posts and put "..." for some reason. I have seen some dating back as far as 2002. :odd: He evidently has been up to something.

Well it's a pleasure to see you again vandenal! :D I can understand what you are dealing with, I have been there before and frankly I wouldn't have been online as much ether if I had joined earlier. Truthfully I was just getting out of high school when I signed up here and everything has been much easier for me so that's kind of why I am on here a lot. Hope everything goes well with you. :)
EDIT: You don`t have to search or ask anymore: Banned User Log
All it says is "Matilda". :odd: After googling it, I take it he asked for a permanent ban?

Frankly after reading his posts, I am surprised he wasn't banned sooner.

Greetings old member, I may not know you too well but I am glad to see you have returned. :) It's kind of funny, I tend to browse through a lot of old threads on here a lot and I seen your name and noticed you hadn't been online since 2007. Then later on I noticed you were online again for the first since then and I was kind of shocked to be honest.

As for the members you mentioned, Sn00pie still wonders onto here sometimes and he even posted a few months back. As for Loudmusic, he still comes on sometimes, but hasn't posted since 2010. If your lucky, you may be able get in touch with them again. ;) As for Milefile, no activity since 2011 unfortunately. Hopefully he will return some day.

@Sonygamer455 yeah, I went through a lot when I moved out of Florida and to Connecticut back in 2004. I stayed away from computers for the most part at that point, was trying to put my life back together at that point. I realized that we are all constantly putting everything together and apart...

I shortly got back over the years until 2007. At that point I was chasing some dreams and simply did not have any time to get on GTP and it slowly slipped from my mind over time. It was really the end of GT5 before GT6 that had me browsing around but not really posting.

Finally I broke silence when I started to race in an online league. ExigeEvan noticed me around so I felt I owed him a response along with a response to everyone that was apart of my GTP life here. :-)

Well the Asshattery will begin again at some point I suppose. ;-)

I'm missing some of my older racing buddies around the forum and on track, tony1311, johnkiller2, RudiRaser, Knilch.

Doug must not want people to know about his activity prior to writing for Jalopnik, Playswithcars, etc.

Maybe, I don't remember what threads he did that with, but I know he had one about him getting to meet MistaX in person all the way back from 2002 and he edited it out too. Who knows why. That's unusual to go back that far just to edit something out.

Probably so people don't find out about what @ShobThaBob pointed out:

Prior? What makes you think he ever stopped lying about everything he could?

The fact that he makes videos (harder to pretend on camera!) and that a couple Jalopnik members have met him give me the impression that he's the real deal. What's he lied about in the past, though? Not skeptical, just interested.

I hate to interrupt but has anyone seen @Winner101? Last time I talked to him he gave me control of a small social group (which lost interest very fast) and then magically disappeared.

Doug had falling out here tmk. I think Famine was having a discussion with him & he ended up just leaving. I think the editing was to cover his past before he actually got to where he is now.

On topic, thanks to a thread someone revived in the Auto forum, it's been a long time since we seen @toyomatt84. He came back once after a long hiatus, but he's been gone ever since. Had some great insight.

That's what I was thinking.

axletramp has been gone a few weeks. Something to do with work someone mentioned.

It's like some of the humour has been kidnapped.
I was just thinking the other day it was a bit weird without him lately.

Indeed, but as is evident from today's Infield shenanigans the puns haven't stopped.

If he's away for too long somebody might have to steal his username.
