I drive a '91 NSX (on the weekends) and it is definately one of my favs. in the game, love drifting her. too bad my real car out powers the game car. (twin turbo, built 3.2 motor, 150shot) 622HP at the wheels.

i drive a 92"celica GT4 all-wheel-drive twin turbo i love it.;)

I drive a Lexus IS300 in real life which is the Lexus IS or the Toyota RS200 in the game. :)

Post some pics of your NSX please. We wanna see. Exterior, interior and engine goodies too. 👍

I drive an Accord IRL, so the only thing close to that is the JDM SIR Accord in GT3 and it's pretty slow and heavy. I think in GT2 or GT1 they had Accord's like mine (97 body style), but they were still SIR's and they had H22A's. I want an H22A for my grocery getter. hehe

*cough*Porsche 944*cough* :D

I'm too young to drive or drift lol. No experience in driving accounts for most of my driving skills :p

by the way what kinda car has 622 hp.. and also why would u need a 150 shot hopefully wet nitrous to spool up the turbo u only need like 50 at most so really ur pushing a constant 522hp cause nitrous is an additive hehe

True N2O isn't a constant thing, but I used it when dynoing so I added it to the final numbers. I was thinking about running just an intercooler sprayer kit, but I decided I could get more power from nitrous. Pics:

I highly doubt Ving has a Shingeno Version. In fact, I think he's outright lying. It was built by Toyota as a limited edition car and it's very rare, and very exspensive. I believe it's also set up for drifting from the factory.

As I understand it, The Shigeno version is put in the game because of the Manga Initial D. It is the version of the car that is in the Manga. I do not believe that this car exists in real life. In the Manga, they put a 240 hp racing 4A-GE engine in the trueno, and later they added the carbon fiber hood, and that is why it looks the way it does, and why it is so fast compared to the regular trueno. So you can stop lying now. If you don't believe me the name of the Artist is Shuichi Shigeno (check spelling), just like the name of the car.

Damn, that is a nice car TurboDrift. Props! I bet you have some good fun in that thing. What boost are you running? What turbos are you using?

As for the Shigeno version, it is the car from Initial D but is not some make-believe car. We don't know what suspension setup it has, but the engine is a TRD Group A blacktop (20V 4A-GE, from an AE101 I think). Yes, it really does have 240hp, and really does go to 11k RPM. They are impossible to find though, and cost about $8k to build (just the engine). They need to be rebuilt often too. You can buy a book from TRD that describes how to build one.

The AE86 S.S. is real. Like I said Toyota built it a few years ago in very limited numbers. They used the original molds and casts for the car. It's very exspensive and very rare. I don't know the whole story but I can find out since no one wants to believe me. I'm not sure if they called it the S.S. Version though, but it was inspired by Initial D/drifting in general.

My NSX has twin Garrett ball-bearing T3/T4 turbos. The wastegate is set for 22psi, but I only run 8 psi of boost on the street. Even on 295 rubber I can break loose in any gear. The turbos sppol amazingly quick (around 2500rpm) reaching full boost at about 2800 to 3000 rpm. I have videos at the track from about 3 months ago you can see me screw up the launch and still hit a 10.6 1/4. I wouldn't dare drift this car though, I'll keep that to the RX-7.. although the RX-7 is suprisingly hard to over rotate, it handles too damn good.

As far as I know, or anyone else I have talk to, the S.S Trueno does not exist. The 4A-GE racing engine, that does exist, but toyota never mass produced an S.S. Trueno I have been looking all over the internet to find one made by toyota, and not one that someone has put together, which I only found one of, and it is not even called the S.S. he just put the 4A-GE in a trueno, with a lot of other modifications. I'm pretty sure this car does not exist, check out this link if you don't believe me. http://www.automotiveforums.com/t55617.html

Also as far as I know, if you are not part of the racing scene, you can't even obtain a 4A-GE engine, so I'm pretty sure that no one in these forums owns a S.S Trueno. I also found a site listing the all of the old rear wheel drive Truenos, and you will notice, that there is not S.S Trueno on this list anywhere
