The turbos sppol amazingly quick (around 2500rpm) reaching full boost at about 2800 to 3000 rpm. I have videos at the track from about 3 months ago you can see me screw up the launch and still hit a 10.6 1/4. I wouldn't dare drift this car though, I'll keep that to the RX-7.. although the RX-7 is suprisingly hard to over rotate, it handles too damn good.

Damn! Serious boost! What compression are you running at? You must've done some serious work on the bottom-end to hold a 150-shot on top of 22psi. Why not just go with higher boost and no nitrous? Those Garretts are sweet, I was running one for a while and damn that thing would spool fast. Also, how can you only run 8psi if the wastegates are set at 22? Shouldn't it be the other way around? 8psi on the wastegates and a boost controller to bleed off from the signal line when you want to go higher?
Please post the video! I'd love to see that. Never seen a decent video of a turbo NSX. You can upload it to my FTP if you want.

As far as I know, or anyone else I have talk to, the S.S Trueno does not exist. The 4A-GE racing engine, that does exist, but toyota never mass produced an S.S. Trueno I have been looking all over the internet to find one made by toyota, and not one that someone has put together, which I only found one of, and it is not even called the S.S. he just put the 4A-GE in a trueno, with a lot of other modifications. I'm pretty sure this car does not exist, check out this link if you don't believe me. http://www.automotiveforums.com/t55617.html
Also as far as I know, if you are not part of the racing scene, you can't even obtain a 4A-GE engine, so I'm pretty sure that no one in these forums owns a S.S Trueno. I also found a site listing the all of the old rear wheel drive Truenos, and you will notice, that there is not S.S Trueno on this list anywhere

please put them up, i would love to see the FD. and wow, thats a very clean NSX (dont know what else to say, wow)Originally posted by TurboDrift
The sad thing is I spend more time playing with the sim cars on GT3 than I do driving the real cars. I take the NSX out on weekends and when I feel like losing my hearing for a little while. I found a couple pics of the RX-7 if anyone's intersted.

I drive an Accord IRL, so the only thing close to that is the JDM SIR Accord in GT3 and it's pretty slow and heavy. I think in GT2 or GT1 they had Accord's like mine (97 body style), but they were still SIR's and they had H22A's. I want an H22A for my grocery getter. hehe

I put some 18" Axis se7ens w/ 225/40/18 Falken tires on it and lowered it with neuspeed sport springs and kyb agx struts. I didn't really do it for performance or anything, I just like the way it looks. I'll see if I can borrow my dads digital camera and take pictures of it next to his 02 WRX.
If and when I get a 240sx, I'll probably sell the wheels and springs off the accord and put the money into the 240sx. I'm waiting because my dad's been having trouble with his left knee bothering him after driving the WRX for a while (he's old hehe) so I may end up switching cars with him until his lease is over. His car's a 5spd and I think it's all the clutch use that's bothering his knee..and my car's an automatic.
haha..maybe shouldnt have mentioned the shigeno ...interesting though....i agree with nismofo....that would be sweet if he gave you the subieOriginally posted by PhameWRC
