They built alot of GT bikes though. :p But I do belive there is an S.S. version..I mean all the cars in GT3 are real cars..why would they just throw in a Manga Car..

They threw in the Manga car, because the creators for GT3 (Polyphony Digital) are also the ones who created the TV series for Initial D. They threw in other Initial D cars also, like you know how you can't buy a yellow FD RX-7, but it is one of the prize cars the reason being is because it is one of the main cars in Initial D

Well then why dont they make you win a white fc rather than that gray one... you can buy a white fc from the dealer...

The turbos sppol amazingly quick (around 2500rpm) reaching full boost at about 2800 to 3000 rpm. I have videos at the track from about 3 months ago you can see me screw up the launch and still hit a 10.6 1/4. I wouldn't dare drift this car though, I'll keep that to the RX-7.. although the RX-7 is suprisingly hard to over rotate, it handles too damn good.

Damn! Serious boost! What compression are you running at? You must've done some serious work on the bottom-end to hold a 150-shot on top of 22psi. Why not just go with higher boost and no nitrous? Those Garretts are sweet, I was running one for a while and damn that thing would spool fast. Also, how can you only run 8psi if the wastegates are set at 22? Shouldn't it be the other way around? 8psi on the wastegates and a boost controller to bleed off from the signal line when you want to go higher?

Please post the video! I'd love to see that. Never seen a decent video of a turbo NSX. You can upload it to my FTP if you want.

I don't know why you are able to buy a white fc, all I know is that you can't buy a yellow fd, and the ss trueno, I never said you couldn't buy all of the cars from ID

I mean the sunburst yellow or whatever looks a bit like cym, which would be a reason outside of hte fact that it was in ID to make it a win only car. After all it does not have stats that differentiate it from any other rz...

ive been practicing on my dad's old Mazda 626

(not the one im praticing with, it's a diff color)
i got stick pretty well and fast. my dads *want's* me to get a permit so i can drive OUTSIDE of the alley! :p :D

I use a Apex'i boost controller on dual HKS Racing wastegates, which the dumps are open and it's very loud at boost. I am only thinking its open at 22psi, but on the dyno I run between 22 and 24 psi, I dont want to run lean and detonate. I think the motor would easily hold 30+ lb of boost, but on the 1300cc secondary injectors it would blow the motor. The bottom end has been decked, sleeved and the pistons and rods are titanium, not to mention the heads are mostly Ti. (valves, springs) The VTEC is turned off, thanks to the cybernation motorsports Black Box. The clutch is a 6-puck ACT unit, and the flywheel is a 9lb aluminum from science of speed. The axles are cnc machined and guaranteed to hold 900+hp. My wheels are 18x8.5 front and 19x10.5 rear.
The compression ratio is 9.5:1 on JE pistons I use the HKS race BOV.

I do not not how to post the vid, but let me know how and I surely will.

Impressive! What are you running on good passes? Mid 9's? Is it scary at first? I've never driven a car like that before :( Not enough bank. I'm satisfied with my 86 for the time being though, I haven't even come close to mastering it. I'm just going to save up until I can't stand not having a turbo any longer. Then I'm gonna switch to something crazy like an FD3S with 20b turbo, or just put a turbo on my 86 but... that almost seems like a violation. We'll see... (I've got turbo fever, TurboDrift understands I'm sure... I ran about the same boost levels at one point and decided that I need a turbo on every engine I ever build.)

As for the video, check this thread for instructions on posting:

Not enough traction to hit a 9 yet :( , but soon I hope, I need to get some slicks, but then I would have to redo the whole big brake kit again so I could fit some smaller wheels on the rear. I have a '93 FD with a single Apex'i RX6 ball bearing turbo.. It's never seen a show, but plenty of windy roads :D . It is pushing 450rwhp on a pettit racing 13B. which I'm starting to wish I had gone with rx7.com, but if I blow this one I will. The FD is on it's 3rd motor, 2nd tranny, and I dont even know how many sets of 265 rear tires. I'll try to take a couple pics. My daily driver is a 2000 civic...ha ha.. .

I can't find the vid CD of my NSX, but I do have a couple from the guy who built it, pansx.com. if you would like to see those.

As far as I know, or anyone else I have talk to, the S.S Trueno does not exist. The 4A-GE racing engine, that does exist, but toyota never mass produced an S.S. Trueno I have been looking all over the internet to find one made by toyota, and not one that someone has put together, which I only found one of, and it is not even called the S.S. he just put the 4A-GE in a trueno, with a lot of other modifications. I'm pretty sure this car does not exist, check out this link if you don't believe me. http://www.automotiveforums.com/t55617.html

Also as far as I know, if you are not part of the racing scene, you can't even obtain a 4A-GE engine, so I'm pretty sure that no one in these forums owns a S.S Trueno. I also found a site listing the all of the old rear wheel drive Truenos, and you will notice, that there is not S.S Trueno on this list anywhere
http://www.superjamie.net/oldcorollas/3-2.html

Well there is one that exsist, and it's not called "S.S. Trueno" There is a AE101 TRD spec 4agelu which was put into trueno's to increase it's power dramatically but of course it was never mass produced, it was a RACE ENGINE.

Damned if I know, it's the stock 5 speed. the synchro's are going bad in 5th and reverse...again, ... I can tell you that. I don't like the feel of the stock shifter, so I have a MS short shifter.

The sad thing is I spend more time playing with the sim cars on GT3 than I do driving the real cars. I take the NSX out on weekends and when I feel like losing my hearing for a little while. I found a couple pics of the RX-7 if anyone's intersted.

I drive an Accord IRL, so the only thing close to that is the JDM SIR Accord in GT3 and it's pretty slow and heavy. I think in GT2 or GT1 they had Accord's like mine (97 body style), but they were still SIR's and they had H22A's. I want an H22A for my grocery getter. hehe

i know how you feel, i also drive a 1996 Accord sedan. im kinda stuck with it until i can afford another car. do you have anything done to yours??

I wish Klos' car that he's going to inherit was in GT3.
But I guess that it's kind of hard for PD to simulate a 150HP 5.0L V8.

Man, jipped again. :(

Here are a few pics when I first bought the RX-7. BNR stage 3 turbos, apex'i intakes, apex'i BOV, apex'i PowerFC. Stock looking 'eh?

If you notice, this is the same uncovered parking lot at my apartment where I took the pics of my NSX. I need a pic of them together... Maybe tomorrow.

I don't know what it is that you do for a living TurboDrift but it looks like I made one hell of a mistake.

I want all those goodies, just need the cash.

I put some 18" Axis se7ens w/ 225/40/18 Falken tires on it and lowered it with neuspeed sport springs and kyb agx struts. I didn't really do it for performance or anything, I just like the way it looks. I'll see if I can borrow my dads digital camera and take pictures of it next to his 02 WRX.

If and when I get a 240sx, I'll probably sell the wheels and springs off the accord and put the money into the 240sx. I'm waiting because my dad's been having trouble with his left knee bothering him after driving the WRX for a while (he's old hehe) so I may end up switching cars with him until his lease is over. His car's a 5spd and I think it's all the clutch use that's bothering his knee..and my car's an automatic.

yeah. same here. its moronic to try to go fast with a 4-door Accord. i just added little things here and there (it pretty much looks like a stock JDM SiR minus the H22A :)). still riding on stock suspension and wheels though (too much money).

that would be sweet if he gave you the WRX

and yeah i also want a 240sx ('97-'98 if possible), an SR20 swap sounds sweettt. its what i wanted in the first place but the Accord was given to me (free car=good).
