It is pleasantly contrary to the garish and over-intense music you are used to hearing in the menus of racing games. I took a listen to a few of the songs they have listed under "alternative," and even bought a few on iTunes! :O

I really like the jazz music in GT5. The piano, saxophone, and trumpet solos are beautifully pulchritudinous <:dopey: I honestly enjoy them. But...

The selections are missing a very paticular instrument.

Mwaaaahaaaahaa!!!

GT5 has music? Must have turned it off before I started playing. I have my own stereo and music I'd rather hear, I guess.

I love the music in GT5 especially Dark Line by Satoshi Bandoh and Double Edge (GERM Remix) by Emika.

I hate how the race screen and tuning screen plays the same song. baby i dont know, just why i love you so

after the 5000th time listening i just had to turn off all the music..

GT5 default BGM (rock etc) Sucks.

GT5 "Slideshow Music" and Menu Music are great, lots of jazzy, lounge, classic and other electro that is very good for long term play, many are relaxing and soothing and fit very well low in the mix as ambient music.

The "classic" GT soundscape. Sophisticated, mature, complex yet subtle.

I like the GT Auto song a lot. Other than that I don't really pay attention to the music...

Haha, I thought I was the only one, but I actually enjoy the music in GT5. I don't listen while I'm driving but I have selected maybe 20 songs for menu music that I like. I'm actually glad that didn't just fill up the list with rap and thrash metal and other music that's grating after a while. I like that it has a wide variety and that much of it is easy to listen to.

I like the music but I added my own in order to retain appreciation for the in-game music. There are some tracks I have switched off. I can't remember which.
