I was really hoping GT5 would have it ... I remember it back in the GT3 days, spent many hours with the Polyphony Cup on that one. :)

Also, Seattle, but not as much ;)

Really hope a lot of tracks come back as DLC. Esp Gindlewald, Red Rock, Test Track, basically all the tracks that aren't real circuits. There is nothing exciting racing around Monza, we have been doing it since World Circuit came out early 90's

when i first started the game, bought my first car and started the sunday cup i was going "awww yeah back home!"

then i went "hmm did they change the layout?!?"

I had to go through a tracklist on some website to find out that the track isnt even in the game.

That was like when Flight Simulator moved its default airport from Meigs to Seattle.

But the reason for that was that the Meigs closed as an airport.

Theres no reason for Midway to be removed from the game.

For every single person who has played the previous parts must have had some special feeling for that first track you race on, and they removed it from the game :|

I was feeling distressed about its exclusion earlier. Someone should start a petition to have the old original tracks as mentioned above released as DLC. I would be happy to pay for them (especially if there were some new events for the tracks). Not that a petition will change a lot!

I don't really miss it. I had lots of good races there, but there's new tracks to explore in GT5.

I'm still wanting PD to bring back Red Rock Speedway (from GT2). At least Midfield was around for three games (GT2, GT3, GT4).

Yeah good call. My fave was always El Captain!!

I miss this track too.
Its a shame its not included. Always loved the uphill sector with the tricky right turn after the small tunnel.

Or the narrow tarmac rally through the village.. Was always a blast to speed around on this track.

I want Costa di Amalfi and Test Track back.

I want Test Curse back as well. Not so much to race there but to test cars. 400M, 1,000M, and Max Speed have always been a staple of the GT series. Unless I'm missing something, GT5 hasn't got a proper testing track.

Yes, very much.

But look at Trial mountain port. Looks horrible.

They could port the rest of the missing ones but then you might as well just say buy GT4 or perhaps PD should've stuck with GTHD. If they can't even redo Trial Mountain after chopping many tracks then the wait and time taken leaves me wondering that PD must need more employees.

TOP GEAR RUNWAY!!! As if this can't be DLC, all they need to do is change the boundaries of the track.

Though the Runway probably wouldn't be long enough for some cars, then again, neither was the Test Track sometimes.

I liked Costa di Amalfi too; and that other really little Italian circuit, I forgot the name.

I was going to say, the Trial Mountain port looks HORRIBLE, especially after you come out of the first tunnel, I saw it the first time and thought "that was a tunnel to the past, because I'm on my PS2 again!"

Another vote here for Midfield. I can remember the GT3 days with it. I remember doing it over and over trying to do it in under a minute.

When i ended the lap in 59.98 seconds I jumped around like an idiot.

EDIT** I also miss Seattle and SSR11.

I was hoping Apricot Hill would be back.

Now that is an epic track.

I hope that the following is offered as DLC, because I WILL BUY THEM!
------------
Seattle
SSR11
Apricot Hill
Grindewald
RedRock
Grand Canyon
Costa di Amalfi
Test Track
El Captain
Midfield

Considering they had no problem porting cars from GT4, I've never understood why they didn't do the same thing with tracks.

I miss Seattle, I remember doing that over and over again with a severely overpowered Mustang that I has been tuning but ran out of money when it came to stuff like suspension, weight loss, etc (basically anything to improve the handling). It literally steered like a boat and was the only car I could use in the only competition I had a car available for, must have spent days trying to conquer it.

I miss Seattle the most, having lived there for so many years and driving up and down that hill in downtown.
Hopefully the missing tracks will be back soon as DLCs

I also miss Midfield, it was one of my favourites along with Apricot Hill.

Not sure if anyone else will agree with me but miss Complex String.
