Sideout909Go take your stock street car on a track and come back to me with the second half of that statement. Going from driving a 02 GTI 1.8T at HPDEs (High Performance Drivers Education Events) and driving one in this game with simalar mods, it's almost scary how close it is to handling like the real thing. With S2 tires it brakes, rolls, and understeers just like the real car does. I'm sure the people who have taken their cars to a road course appreacite this game much more then the avrage joe would. I know me and my friends are going to be using this as a tool to pratice our race lines and learing how to control lift off etc..
The funny thing is I HAVE taken my car to the local course...Phoenix interntational raceway......And I have driven other cars AT that road course. And I still don't agree with the physics....Maybe it's right for a Jetta/Golf...But I don't drive VW's....
As for all this talk about the "REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR"...Until they can devize a way for the body to feel g's....It's a GAME.....And game's that STRIVE to be something more than a GAME is just like spitting in the face of all other developers saying they're better than everyone else...When they're not..
As for AI...I've yet to encounter any cases of "driver agression" like I did in GT3......But maybe i've yet to progress far enough.....
+ the money issue still sucks....
You should be able to have a mode to test the cars out w/ whichever mod you like...not "unlocking" crap or having limitless funds.....neither support the idea of it being a "Real driving simulator"
