I wouldn't really care for it, you'd be seeing things like a NSX with a Ferrari customization like you see over in the Questionable modifications thread...

If it would be limited to cars that share the same chassis and general base, then I could possibly go for it.

OK, the Alpha 12 GT-R has serious power, but at what cost...

Apply that same insane money to the LS1 engine, and unless it is just too much for the 105 lb block, probably get 1800 HP or more out of it.

It doesn't take an insane amount of money to pump 1200 HP from the LS1.

Talking about spoon engines in nmazdas try crate motors in chevys imagine a chevelle with a 502 or a camaro with a bored out 350

I didn't realise cost effectiveness was your primary concern in a fantasy world where you have several Ferrari's in your garage that you never drive

Keep in mind that the GT-R can actually use that power in more than just a straight line ;)

Anyway, all of this is wildly off topic, even from our discussion 👍

The GT-R can manage power levels outside of what is possible in the game, so there's no bias from PD based on country.

I dunno, I think seeing stuff like that would be funny more than anything. Like the AW11 kit cars or any other MR2/S made to look like a Ferrari that make me cry from laughing XD
But I agree, if the body panels match in some way (Like with the example given by the OP) it can look pretty cool and unique :)

I like the idea. When it comes to bodykits, I don't care for flash cosmetic stuff like in NFS Underground, but aerodynamic performance bits, yes. Like chin spoilers (that actually generate downforce KAZ!!!). And just as importantly, rear wings that are appropriately sized and positioned (KAZ!!!!), not like the premium Jag XK with its tiny rear tea-tray.

Engine swaps are a nice idea, but only within manufacturers, and only if it can physically be done in real life. Modified Civics have often been given Integra engines, for example.

I like the idea of changing the body kits but changing the front half is just ridiculous. I would also like to have a smoked black tail lights and being able to put decals on your favourite premium car.

Obviously you can't engine swap your car with other manufacturer engine. Wen working with lets say a Honda civic or accord and you currently have a DOHC vtec installed I would assume PD would give us an option to customize the car (engine support..etc) so that the spoon engine would fit perfectly in the car.

In theory it seems like an interesting idea but I don't think it's possible to do it. The interchangeable body parts, that is. More aero parts options would be nice though.

Nah, I would like more aeroparts or the abillity to remove a rear spoiler from a car.
Like removing the spoiler from a Scooby instead of replacing it for some ugly carbon time attack spoiler.

I always wanted to do that with the RX-7 FD3S.

I want and agree.
