I have had cups of coffee :scared: that cost more than this download pack .....I am getting it for sure.

I can't wait to try out the Scirocco. Though I am wondering when we will finally see a VR6 VW in game? I am thinking the Corrado SLC would be the one I'd choose.

Of course I'm buying the DLC, why wouldn't I? I love and support GT and PD so without a doubt: Yes!

Definitely will be getting this new DLC pack. I always liked the aggressive looks of the Scirocco, and to see it coming in a GT5 DLC pack in 5 days nearly made me fall over crying with tears of joy!
.

Me too! Shouted "YES" outloud in the office at lunchtime, they thought I had won a big order. Was surprised and dissapointed the Scirocco wasn't in the original game, very happy that this car and the new Golf are now featured, more European cars than Japanese cars in a DLC has to be a good sign. And the new update allows us to change the wheel on standard cars again, my Jensen Interceptor is crying out for the Rostyles it had in GT4! Big thumbs-up for the new DLC and update.

I won't buy it, GT5 has a serious lack of tracks and an overflow of cars (specially of GT-R's) that's absolutely unbalanced, I don't understand PD policy.
If PD would model a SEAT Leon (WTCC) I would pay for that car, there's only one sad spanish car in the game and even it's standard, anyway what I said, I want more tracks, there are enough cars in the game.

I'm all for supporting developers, but dropping money on DLC for the sole purpose of supporting them isn't going to happen. I buy DLC when the developers have included enough content that is of interest to me.

When PD start offering more Premium Race cars I'll buy the pack. If old GT tracks show up as DLC.., I won't drop a penny on it. GT5 has some really good race cars, but unfortunately the majority are sub par standards.

As far as I'm concerned.., I showed my support for the developers when I dropped $60.00 on the game itself. Not to mention my support in also owning previous GT titles.., and even buying it for my PSP.

I'm buying mate, just begging for an old MKII Escort, some European classics. Dirt 3's car list with it's DLC is what I'm missing from GT5! I would sooner PD took my money.

This, plus tracks!
To answer the OP, not exactly overwhelmed, but yes I will.

Totally buying the 3.99 happy meal. The sound updates will be worth the price alone. In support, here is hoping to a GT6 and PS4 title launch in 2013. PD, please don't make a late release after the PS4 like you did with PS3, that was agonizing.

The update you are referring to is free. The 4 cars are the only thing that costs money this time around.

I'll buy any DLC that has cars I like in it, so the Scirocco and Golf alone have sold me on this pack. I like the Mini but I wouldn't buy DLC just for it. I think the GT-R Fairy Light Edition should've been free with the patch and the Toyota GT86 as part of the DLC pack. I feel better paying $4 (not sure how much they'll charge in £) for 4 new cars, than 3 new cars and a new front bumper for a car I already dislike.

I can understand your comment. You are making the argument that we should buy this DLC to show PD that we want more DLC and therefore they will make more. However, I can clearly understand those with a different viewpoint. This current DLC is very underwhelming. Basically only 2 new cars, 1 car with only cosmetic upgrades, and 1 car with some performance upgrades that likely could be easily accomplished in the tuning shop. One could easily make a case for not buying this DLC to show PD that the community won't support mediocre DLC. If the last DLC sold 1 million copies and this one only sells 500,000 then it would send the message that they need to put more into the DLC packs.

Personally I'm really not sure which way I'm leaning right now. I'm quite apathetic to this current DLC, but 4 dollars is really nothing to me, so I'm torn.

Have to agree really. I'm underwhelmed by this DLC, I bought all the packs from the last DLC & I would like to support PD. I've bought all there previous GT's but I'm not going to support mediocre DLC, as I don't wanna encourage them to produce more of this kind of DLC. Personally I think GT could do with more tracks or Race cars from various racing series (except Nascar)

I'll likely get it but I won't use them.

But... why? The DLC pack is only the cars this time around! All the other updates are part of the free patch 👍

If you're gonna buy them, at least use them, man!

I might tune them for drag racing, but other than that, I'll probably just be buying them to show my support for PD. At least it's something :/

I will gladly support PD, when they release something worth buying. Its sad people just throw their money at PD for releasing stuff just to support them, I like PD just as much as the next person and have purchased every GT game on release day, but giving them money for worthless, bland, DLC isn't helping the fanchise out it just shows PD they can hand out what ever they want and people will buy it.

We as a community need to show PD that we support them only when they release a great product not 4 cars that a aready in the game, GTR already there with dozens and dozens more, Mini Coop include already, Golf several in the game if I remember right. How about some cars that people really aspire to want and drive in the game.

They slap stickers and a wing on cars already in the game and want us to buy them again? Really?? Now they want use to pay for another GTR, Mini Coop, and Golf thats been in the game since release its just a 2 yr newer model thats not any different than the others?

If PD wants any money from me they need to show alittle effort, no totally new cars to GT franchise, No money from me, no additonal tracks, No money from me.

I'm buying it because I will get my moneys worth with it. But I don't understand making a thread like this begging people to spend their money. If they want it great, but if they don't that is fine too. Sales of the different packs will show PD what is in demand and what isn't. Everyone buying it will just tell them we will but whatever they throw at us, and that's not a good thing.

As I said above if you don't like what they're releasing then don't complain because they can't cater to everyone's likes. Besides, if people don't buy these DLC's then they might not bother at all.

I'm not forcing people buy it, I'm just saying if your a true fan and want to see PD grow, then we should support them.👍

Im going to wait on this one I may get it just for the VW's BUT I think being able to change wheels on std cars will keep me ocupied for a while anyway.

With a little EFFORT PD can try to cater to most peoples likes, with a variety of small DLC packs. For example, Le Man car pack with 4-6 cars, a hatchback pack, supercar pack, rally car pack, ect.... If you blindly buy whatever they put out, how are they ever going to improve??? Lackluster products is better than nothing at all? We should send them the message that we love to support PD but we don't just throw are money away either.
If you don't try and cater to a wider audience then PD deserves to fail.

As a huge GT fan, I won't stop supporting them by buying every single one of their contents... but.. I just wish PD would LISTEN to their fans and give us what WE want instead of what THEY want.... I'm not very pleased with this DLC at all to be completely honest here. I want more exotic/race cars! Give me Koenigsegg, more Paganis, more Lambos, more Ferraris, just more race/exotic cars! PLEASE PD!

I'm prob gonna ask for both the DLC for Xmas. I really don't care about any of the new cars from either DLC but whatever new stuff. New mini looks cool the 05 is one of my fav cars in the game so we will see how this is.

Top 3 new cars should of been:

The new Lamborghini Aventor (forgot spelling lol). So amazing in every way. I would of said diablo but this car is equally as sweet.

The premium Veyron super sport. Everyone wants a premium Veyron and what better way than the super sport.

The Mercedes s class. Always the newest stuff is found in this car first. It's big, it's fast, and it's cutting edge. How it's not already in game amazes me.

Does anyone not find it awkward, that PD has just hit out straight away with what is going to be available for the DLC and update?

I think there is more stuff in this update that is not being mentioned. After all it is just before Christmas and I do not think PD would want there loyal fans let down with just this much for an update. Unless I am mistaken.

But what do you think?
