Probably it's overpriced, but i don't care. They worked for free to make gt5 better, so i'm ok to pay that price for spa now. And the reason is simple: that track on gt5 will be like the nurb for me (for a good 35% of my gt5 time i was there). It's one track but i'm going to enjoy it like 10.

At lease were not playing forza. Lets have dlc before the games releases LOL. Forza is all about getting your money. Forza Im not spending money on a second rate inferior game....

far out there are some tight arses/perennial whingers around here.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Forza 4 going to operate off the premise of "DLC" as well as Microsoft charging for online server access? I think we're getting a pretty good deal considering a bulk of this update material was free.

And that karting space looks really neat as well. Plus Spa will be great. 👍

Not sure if I'll buy the car pack, but I'll definitely be buying Spa!

I think any track pack with old tracks cut from GT5 should be free! Or atleast really cheap. I miss midfield so much...

Indeed it should, all they have to to is copy & paste the track onto the psn store. I know they'll have to re-render them, but the tracks should have been included with the game when we bought it IMO. About spa, i would definitely buy it (if i had had the money), although 12$ is a little expensive for 2 tracks, it is worth it.
By the way, Do you think it's possible join lobbies and race the track before actually getting the pack?

I will for sure get it. Cant wait to drive with F2007/F10/FGT there

I just hope they have a 24 Hour GT classification race..I miss GT1's being there for Spa24 :(

I'm astonished that they went with Spa though.

I'm not, the track is legendary.

I'm looking forward to both. Especially seeing as I've tried out the new karts in Arcade Mode, having Kart Space missing already feels annoying. Spa is obviously a very good addition to the game as well.

It just isn't like PD to go with such tracks.

PD and Sony are just making money people! It's not a rip off, they are intelligent because they know that boys and girls like us are going to pay up. :)

They're only gonna want like $12 a year. No big deal.

Double post sorry.

I got my wife some tickets to go to a SPA, now my wife will do the same for me!

I mean the Belgian Racecourse, Spa.

EDIT: It's in Belgium, isn't it?

Doh.

Two words: Eau Rouge, the most notorious corner in racing.

There in 2008 IIRC and it rained hard during FIA Spa24, was entertaining to watch machines passing thru Eau Rouge!

I remember the SPA track for Need for Speed: Shift, and it was absolutely brilliant for a track. I am thrilled this is coming as DLC, $12 sold, worth the price of track alone. The rest is icing and goodies (Swag)

I also must say, from teaser videos of FM4, the track with the mountain pass rockies, and real autumn trees, looks **** amazing too, hope those variants make it here too.

I respect those who say "not getting my money, not enough content" it's ok to have that stance too, for it will make Sony reflect that not everything can be simply thrown at us for purchase. I am selective in what I spend my money on, and GT5 is worth a lot more than the $60 + electric bills I paid for.

I'll get the Spa. I can pay lots for it!

I am. $12 is kind of steap for it though if I can only race arcade. Definitely a great choice if your only doing one track.

I am.

I was expecting each DLC (Cars and Tracks) to run at about $10 each; $12 for both, plus the racing gear is a great value (Or atleast compared to what I was planning on spending)

Most people are paying 5 dollars for Spa only. I think the kart tracks look cool and I hope you can use them in the course creator.

To whoever said the DLC was a ripoff, think about this. Separately, they come out to about 18 dollars. A six dollar discount is a really good deal for all that content. It could have easily cost more than that.
