Who's NOT looking forward to new seasonals tomorrow?

It seems that PD have decided to follow a very boring and repetitive pattern of new events. One week its new time and drift trials, then its new A-Spec Challenges which aren't very "challenging" at all. I've lost my last bit of hope for new and cool seasonals. Whatever happened to their creativity like the return of Real Circuit Tours or World Compact Car Race where you could have a blast trashing the AI with a little nimble Kart? It seems PD lost their sense of creativity lately. Anyone else in the same boat as me, and are not looking forward to new seasonals tomorrow?
 
I agree, not looking forward to the new seasonals, mostly because they are simply boring.

Trades and weekly seasonal events are now the two reasons that keeps me in the game. I like thursdays, no matter what are the seasonals. They could be better and more challenging but they could also be non existent, so, I'm happy:tup:
 
Im with BlueGT, only do them for tickets to add to my collection.
 
I agree.

I used to look forward to seasonals. But my enthusiasm for new events has gone down signifactly ever since PD started this pattern and ever since a lot of events were removed. I don't even check them out the night they're posted anymore.
 
It would be nice to see a TT on a short track where the restrictions mean that the fastest car isn't a 2J or R390. Perhaps karts on tokyo bay or rally cars in london.
 
They are so lazy, it must take 10mins to knock up a quick 3 race seasonal or TT!!!

Give us more events with more laps at different bloody PP than 400, 500 & 650...YAWN....zzzzzzzzzz!
 
Agreed, the seasonals are crap. Kaz/PD have totally given up on AI, A-Spec, and seasonals in GT5. Not that they ever really cared in the first place.
 
Tonight/ tomorrow probably won't be a new seasonal, it'll probably be new Time Trials. The current ones are scheduled to end tonight.
 
Here's hoping for a new Like The Wind Seasonal featuring Route X, Route 7, and Superspeedway Daytona. :scared:
 
Time and drift trials this week, I expect. Still doesnt stop me hoping for somehing more. Having said that theres a xbox + forza + live sized chunk of change sitting in my bank account - does that make me some sort of heretic?
 
I could use some money, so I won't say much, other than I feel like they could do more drifting events.

I hear the career mode and AI in Forza is equally easy and not fun because it's so easy.

It will just be simple Time & Drift Trials tomorrow. No A-Spec, no B-Spec and no refreshed OCD. Not looking forward to anything until at least next week...

Wasted the rally cars on a DT.. Why couldn't we have a rally car A-Spec seasonal? That would at least be different.

Agreed. I dislike this pattern. Why not just give us every track 400/500/650pp. Or is that a spoiler for the next 12 months seasonals?
 
I don't get why there isn't a constant two-lap race seasonal around the Nordschleife for a wide range of PP bands.

One lap for the race, another for the personal time trial.
 
How about an "underdog" event?

One or two modern new cars driven by the a.i, vs you in the old machine, the underpowered under-gripped underdog.

At least this would help get around the a.i's lack lustre pace, and be more interesting than the starting 15 seconds behind stuff.

Agree with OP, like the TT's but find the A-spec challenges Boring and repetitive.
 
Anytime a pattern emerges, it starts to be tedious. I long for the very first set of A - Spec challenges. They had restrictions and were difficult to get the gold. Paid out a fixed amount and when you got your gold, you were finished. In my opinion, those were the best seasonals.

I like the TT and DT, tired of the same A - Spec, and hate the B - Spec (400,500,650). I was ok with the B - Spec on Spa and Sarthe. Only thing is, why can't they give us those races on A - Spec? That would be VERY nice! 👍 The 3 and 5 lap, no tire wear/fuel usage for A - Spec needs to go away... far away.
 
PD is starting to lose originality with their Seasonals (and with GT5 in general).
 
I wish they would get back in the practice of releasing car-specific events. Running the same 400/500/750PP races in the same cars is stupid. Tell me I have to use a specific car. Those were the fun races.
 
New seasonal tonight? Probably another stupid B-spec.. I hope they get off this lame schedule and add something new and creative! And not an endurance!

A-spec please!! And switch it up and mod the AI cars or just lower the PP and start in a NORMAL grid format!! Please PD!!
 
I'm looking forward to the seasonals tomorrow, but I'm not looking forward to having to wait until Friday to play them, as the maintenance goes up tomorrow. :ouch:
