Why are my helmet, gloves etc. seem different?

Sorry if this was asked before. Why my helmet, gloves etc. seem different in Manufacturer and National Series than I use in offline races?

You get assigned a default helmet and suit livery for Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup races, based on your country/manufacturer.

For a while your selected helmet and suit did display in these races, but PD changed it back, not sure why.

Sometimes my custom helmet is in the live intro, but the replay it's the Manufacturer/Natiins colors.

Personally I don't think this is a bug in it's current form, the bug is more the fact that PD broke FIA races and allowed the custom helmet/race suit to use in the race and they quietly corrected it back to the proper suit's we are supposed to wear.

I know I've worn the correct suit/helmet and not had them shown in all of Season 3 just now and sometimes the helmet's appear but usually the driver is wearing the correct one in the actual car not the custom helmet if you look closely in the car.

Isn’t the Jaguar VGT another example? Or the special G-Suit for the Dodge VGT? (Or was that for one of the Red Bull cars, or maybe even both?)

Their helmet design may display on their name card during the grid sequence (though there has always been issues with these not displaying correctly anyway). In the replay, the assigned nations/manufacturer helmet will display on the name card instead.

However, if you look at the driver in their car (both during the race and in replay), their helmet/gloves/suit is not personalised - it is assigned to them. You will also notice this yourself when you select to do practice from the Nations/Manufacturers cup event.

Jaguar VGT also forces you to that Jules Verne suit.
