I have ran into people in GT5 online who don't use aids like TCS and I usually don't use aids and there's nothing wrong with that but why do they bash on others for wanting to use them and calling them rude names that just aren't necessary I have ran into a lot of people like that and I'm just wondering about that.. Are they just trying to be intimidating cause it sure isn't working ..

srf is absolutely stupid and shouldn't even be in gt5. I didn't even know what srf was untill i had the offline portion of the game complete and im glad im not one of the people that ruined the game by using it to "cheat".

Srf doesn't exist so why is it even in the game same goes for all the other stuff that drives the car for you.

Gt5 isn't called "train simulator" for a reason.

Welcome to the vast and sometimes rude world of online gaming.
It got so bad in the Call of Duty lobbies, I just stopped playing altogether. I understand you can mute people, but that just eliminates teamwork for guys like me that enjoy it.

Overall, the GT community is far more laid back. I met some awesome friends, its just the bad apples we tend to remember more. I really wouldn't let it bother you because that's what folks like that want.

I'm okay with people using aids, to an extent. If you;re suing the odd aid, like TCS on 5 and SRF, ABS on 3, and maybe active steering, and you're a nice person, I have no problemo.

I used to work as a teacher with teenagers. Fairly difficult job but having been a bartender nothing I couldn't handle. Please don't blame the Kids: They just do what they are allowed to. Blame the parents who find it too difficult to behave like one, who just can't be bothered to set clear rules and limits, who rather try to be their kid's friend instead of their fathers and mothers.
Give those kids a chance and they will prove once and again that most of them are not the monsters they sometimes seem.

It's a twisted, simplistic way to love: It's the kids that eventually pay the consequences of being spoiled by their parents.
To really love them is to be able to assume the realities of the job, which very often means showing your kids it's not all about them.
Don't get me wrong, I'am all for love and affection, and you can't overestimate the value of support for your kid's confidence, but there is also respect for elders and anyone else for that matter, regardless of position or income, the teaching of patience, and settling very early on that life doesn't owe anything to anyone

There are rude people of all ages, let's not forget. 💡

I've known some senior citizens that were very nasty!
And I have known some 4 year olds who were quite polite.

I have been kicked for much less. I was in a room once and some 10 year old happened to be host, He was talking so much **** about if you don't like "hella flush" then your a piece of garbage etc etc. I didn't even know what hella flush was so i asked and he took it personal and started yelling and cussing me out and kicked me? Lol

That would be stupid. While I do have no problem with aids, I do like the forced skill level needed when driving without. As a result every room I start has them off.

Plus you'd never hear then end from the elitest.

I'm not justifying the use of aids! I was speaking down of driving aids if you are unable to notice! I never use driving aids and always set the rooms I make to have them off! So I advise you read a post properly before you flip out!

Elitests like you, and the puffed up aid using assholes, are whats wrong with the community. Let people be, stay in your world of hatred abd leave level minded people enjoy the gane whether they use the ****ing driving aids or not!

You know people play this game for all sorts of reasons not just the driving physics. Just because they use aids they should stop playing and get a kart/combat racer? How about each person plays the way they want and as long as it doesn't affect your game then who cares? And if it really bothers you that much only race in lobbies with all aids off. Either way I feel that if having driving aids can open the series up to new people who otherwise wouldn't buy it than that is only a good thing.
