GT5/PD is like a restaurant with really awesome food but terrible waiters. I really wish I could find somewhere else to eat that has as goood or better food but I can't so I'm stuck sitting at my table wondering where my meal is that I ordered yesterday

I think maybe PD's post has got lost in translation somewhere, and whats really happening is they've extended the OCD into a permanent feature but the Seasonal Events have come to an end.

Nope I think they are working on the "GT Club" feature that is why it is taking so long.

it takes PD 2 weeks to develop what other developers can develop in 1 week.

It's been like this since GT5 was announced. No one should e surprised anymore.

im pretty sure the new events are gonna be released on the 9th when the current ones expire, and are only going to last a week instead of two from now on. however it'd be nicer if they actually told us what they were doing but we all know that wont happen

Honestly, the way PD acts you'd think they just gave the game out for free and we hadn't all paid $60 for it.

I just like watching how people get pissed off over a seasonal event. I'm actually just doing B-spec so lean back, lean back xp.
 
thats what im saying. i think they are waiting an extra week and making it so only one set of events is available at a time, not two like they used to be.

People like things to go as planned...I apologize that we are disappointed that something we enjoy is being delayed.

If I knew it wasnt coming yesterday I would have done 100000000000000001 things but they clearly said yesterday in the morning then people said typo it's p.m., then people said today.

PD has the worst organization skills ever.
 
They are too busy fixing GT Academy to stop cheaters :lol:

The thing is that it is supposed to be EVERY Thursday +/- 1 day. They only put that message up a week or two ago.
 
Look on the bright side, at least the mass influx of complaining will no longer be premature. Carry on!
 
Watched a show on natgeo earlier about the buggatti veryon. Think Ill go try and win it in different colors on my alts. They really didn't do this car justice. For starters it should have been premium.

Well they've disregarded that fact so that leads me to believe that they are just trying to simplify it. the fact that they have only some of the cars as premium and only a handful as RMable, its clear that they are cutting corners with the game's programming. and having done a decent amount of programming i know that and if/then function based on the time frame of the events is a lot simpler than a list function to have the events move down in priority one week and then be replaced by the new ones the next. but thats just what i get out of this

Dude. Like someone knows if it's going to come yes or no, only PD does. Go play the game and check every now and then if they updated :-).
 
Actually, the GT Academy issue might be a reason for the delay. I mean, they had to get round 2 up, then they had to scramble to come up with a new track to stop the cheaters, which probably entailed a little bit of testing, and they're also working on Updates and DLC content. Not having Round 7 up at the moment just means that the OUCD and the closing of events are done automatically on a timer.

This reminds me of when they announced the Nov 2nd delay and people were furious at Polyphony Digital because they scheduled vacation for that week. PD didn't tell you to sit around waiting for the seasonal, you chose to knowing they could be late. Now they are late and you are mad at them because you wasted your time.
