The funny thing is the UK invented GMT, and we are thinking of getting rid of it as we don't like dark evenings in winter. The rest of the world will have to adjust all their time references.

Majority of the population is on the East Coast though.
Funny about the differences how the East Coast is GMT+10, West Coast is GMT+8 but Mid lands is GMT+9.5 and not GMT+9.

Yeh I don't get that either. Still either way with the deadline fast approaching can I be a pessimist and say it's taking rather longer to get the code up for perhaps a tad more than simply extra bonus seasonals??
 
When the new seasonals didn't come out last evening, my first guess was that they were going to wait for #6 to expire next Wednesday, and then begin their new regular seasonal update schedule.

Who knows? :boggled:

No it's not! Not quite. We are GMT+1 from March to October!
 
What? why would they do that, they already said it's a weekly update, if they wanted to they could just stop even 6 with immediate effect, not just wait a whole 7 days...that's too funny.

Don't think you're going to see a new seasonal till next week. The update said they were going to do them weekly. Which means week 7 will come immediately after week 6 ends, which will be the 9th.
 
No UK is on GMT right now, in March they will be on BST

Yes.....
And that we are planning on getting rid of it. (I am a UK citizen). The Scottish are not keen though. I think they should have their own time if they want, but the UK government does not wish to create time zones in our small cloudy island.

Can I just say WELL DONE to Polyphony for making the whole GT5 experience so much richer such that it brings we fellow gamers closer together?

Why don't we wait until we know for sure that they've missed the deadline until we start giving explenations as to why the would've missed the deadline.

It's not about the anticipation for the event (at least for me) it's about the possible "early February" update that might come with it.

Also, it's past time, anyone checked yet?

Still not up as of 11:02EST. I give up I'm going to bed.
 
but the main screen has some fireworks probably for the lunar new year. They change our background but not the events.

I don't know why I even expected anything.

PD has made it clear that they just don't care that much anymore. They're like a big fat whale, too much blubber to even worry anymore and coasting on past success.

GT5/PD is like a restaurant with really awesome food but terrible waiters. I really wish I could find somewhere else to eat that has as goood or better food but I can't so I'm stuck sitting at my table wondering where my meal is that I ordered an hour ago.
