In real life you can turbocharge any car but its not as simple as strapping a turbo on. It involves changing to lower compression pistons. Increase cooling and lots of other components must be changed. In a way its like fitting a new engine. Im glad you cant turbocharge everything as your much more likely to find a large cc engine with a supercharger instead. There is my 2pence worth![]()
Why can I add a supercharger to the Ford Lightining and Cobra? They come from the factory with them already installed but I can put a second one on.
Isnt that just the engine mods (stg 1,2,3) in the tuning shop?
So your saying in real life I could not put a turbocharger on a ISF
In the real world, you can turbocharge any internal combustion engine.

Some engines are less suited to be blown. I don't know the specifics of that motor but if it's already really high strung, with a high compression ratio and thin cylinder walls, then putting a turbo on it would be a BAD idea.
i was bored and supercharged a chevrolet matiz in real life; i don't see why supercharging and turbocharging is available for every car if honest. If the charger of choice is added, i'd have thought for the price paid, new parts would be included to lower the compression ratio if needed >_>
Trust me you don't want to turbocharge everything. I turbocharged my vacuum cleaner so it would clean faster but then it sucked up my carpet and my cat.Why can't everything be turbocharged

I kid, I kid.
Why can't everything be turbocharged?
VillainBecause naturally-aspirated engines are sexier. Chicks dig cars that don't sound like vacuum cleaners.
This is the most absurd application of logic I have seen in defense of GT5 in a long while.Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Since GT5 doesn't feature any penalties for abusing and destroying engines by poorly modifying them, they simply prevented you from making the stupid mistake in the first place.

BOOM. this is why I bought an s2000. Sexiest engine I ever heard...
