"The 47 MB patch is now available for download when you launch the game.[...] Among changes on the list appears a limit to trading of cars above 1 000 000 Cr value.
The value of a Used car is not based on the price you buy it, but on an invisible internal value which is slightly higher ; concesquently, most cars that are priced around 980 000 - 999 999 Cr can't be trade either."

Approximately value of the cars:

But to be fair to the people who only use 1 account for GT5 like myself, this is a great move by PD. It eliminates duplicating which was threatening to make GT5 a laughing stock (yes, we all know it already is a laughing stock, but it would've made it 100 times worse!), not to mention eliminates about 40% of all the rooms online because you barely see any that have "TRADE" as it's title since 1.07 and to the honest, the people who frequented those rooms were:

a) Punters
b) Duplicaters
c) Scammers
d) All of the above.

If you have no interest in earning the cars then what's the point of playing?? It's like saying you went to a Lakers game during the NBA Finals last year and saying because you went, you helped them win the championship.

Let me see. You can use them for drifting, Photo's and sometimes it's a car you just can't really get E.g X1.

Also some people don't have time to "earn" them.

Yes, but you still need the funds to purchase the car from the UCD or winning races. ;)

Still earn your cars to do that.

and sometimes it's a car you just can't really don't have the patience to get E.g X1.

Fixed that bit.

Also some people don't have time to "earn" them.
So people don't have 15 minutes a week?? :odd: Yeah, right.....if that was the case then they wouldn't have the time to post on here either. To those people who say "don't have time to earn them", GT5 wasn't designed to be completed in a week, and for that reason it gets it's longevity and you can try to get that car you wanted later. Hell, GT4 kept us going for over 5 years, and I'm expecting a similar level of longevity with the interest the game can give you.

So people don't have 15 minutes a week?? :odd: Yeah, right

Say I want a 20million Cr. car but could only play fifteen minutes a week? Are you seriously suggesting a serious solution here? You're telling me I should earn it over around 80 weeks of Indy?

THIS made my day! 👍

Stupid question, but are you trying to give away the car you're currently in?

Short of that, you really need to restart your system. Something sounds fishy.

Mafia Boy: So people don't have 15 minutes a week??

15 minutes a week is just about enough time to log in and get your museum cards the way this Edsel loads...

Not everyone has time to "earn", you mean grind, every car they would like to own, unless you are building a stable of Cappuccino Roadsters. Just like not everyone has time to accumulate over 5400 posts on one forum, Mafia Boy. But to each his own.

I like to think of those of us crafty enough to beat the grinding portion of the game by gifting, duping, buying or trading, and concentrate on the racing and collecting portions of the game as hybrids. We simply combined the best parts of Grand Theft Auto, "stealing cars" according to some of you angels who never looked up a hint, trick, or cheat code in their lives, and GT5's racing and graphic prowess.

Certainly puts a whole new spin on "drive it like you stole it". Works for me.... at least until PD took away a functional part of a product I already paid for. That's what bothers me the most. It's sort of buying a new car and the dealer comes to your house three months later and takes the radio out of it because he didn't like how much or the type of music you were playing.

In the end, it's just a game. I really liked giving myself millions of dollars worth of cars from my multiple multi-millionaire accounts, thanks Seasonal Events, on those days I did play. Almost more fun then the almost-racing with GT5's AI, Almost Intelligence, F1 2010 is far better "racing". "Why yes, I will take that Enzo in Blue, Yellow, and all shades of Red. Thanks for asking."

No, I meant it sounds like there's something fishy going on with your PS3, not that YOU are doing something fishy. And I only asked if you were trying to trade the car you were currently in because I've made that mistake...

This is where Bspec comes into play. Leave him on a 24hour race and/or do the remote races. Now stop crying.

Lol, dude you have to be at least a little bit realistic. How far do you get in GT5 if you play 15 min a week? You won't get a single good car even if you play until the rest of your life. People have to understand and accept that other people play games in a different way and they don't have hundreds and thousands of hours to drive in circles all the time. I ONLY want to collect all cars and I give a **** about the boring races. I have a job, a wife, friends and other hobbies. In other words, I have a life to live. Is that so difficult to understand? GT5 died for me on the day when they released the retarded 1.07 update. I won't touch the game anymore because PD ruined it completely. Sorry PD, but there are much better games on the market.
GT5 R.I.P!!! Marvel vs. Capcom here I come.

Lol, because bspec is so much fun and it's also blocking my PS3 24/7. Great idea! 👎
