Where is the sense in closing the Nascar seasonal event yet keeping the Gran Turismo Expert Race seasonal open? The GT Expert Race is a once only event aswell for prizes awarded.
I was going to beat these on a new account to easily rack up a ton of money, and they are closed? That's a shame. I can't say I understand what the benefit is here. They are simply reducing the functionality of the game needlessly.

My guess is that there was probably a limited-time licensing deal between PD and NASCAR and/or Gordon, DuPont, other sponsors or any combination thereof.
Its realism. This game has tens of thousands car/track combinations, many of which are very unique challenges. Racing opportunities come and go. They'll keep on finding and providing us with unique races! It's fun like that.
The Nascar event was to give users the JG out fit nothing more.
Those who did not win the Out fit. Will now have to trade for it or just got with out.

PD only wanted the JG suit to be for a limited number of users...
So put a time limit on it.
The other events are just Aspec extensions and say so..
However, it's much simpler with the nascar seasonal as they just provide you with the car.
Anyway, seems odd to me to expire the event early, when most events just 'expire' when they are updated out of existence. There is no good reason for this. It's stupid. It's not a big deal, but it's stupid.
