well in response I cannot nor am I trying to speak for gt5scrub but : The game's overall structure is quite tedious, and I am not just referring to getting cars. The leveling system, menu's, and load times can make GT5 quite cumbersome. I myself am currently in the process of finishing up my car collection and its taken up a lot of time. Wrapping up I think every cent is mandatory and anything extra is as well, and especially in a game as open as GT5. The events barely give any cash and anyone without internet playing any GT title is doomed. Some events are just too hard and other times the work/fun ratio really isn't worth it. Seeing your lap times improve can be nice but knowing you earned that Saleen S7,Bugatti Veyron can be twice as sweet. The game is about driving skill but sometimes that is not enough.
