They could at least tell us a whats going on which cars are in or out and a when abouts when the games is going to be released.

Well seeing how they proably dont know when the game is coming out its kinda hard to tell us when, when they dont even know, thats why they said TBA 2004... They could tell us but maybe because of competition sakes they dont but thats how they are but I think we should get some info but if you look at the GTA series they dont let anything out until near release date, GT4 will proably be the same way when they start wrapping up the game and ready for release thats when we'll proably start seeing a whole mess of screen shots, previews and hand-on expressions...

Guess a lot of game companies r like that. I have no idea of whats going on with half life 2 either.

suspense is a killer.... and a seller :)

They're doing it by my request. I sent them an email explaining how much I hate it when a company gives all kinds of rediculous release dates for something as trivial as a video game, getting the whole industry all energized, then delays repeatedly causing unnecassary grief and frustration. I said it would be much simpler to just complete the game, do valid testing, have a solid product and when it goes to the factory THEN annouce that it's on its way.

Or maybe I'm just talking crazy. I bet they're not anywhere near ready, and have no idea when the product will find completion.

Well GT4 has only had 1 delay, they won't give the relese date out for a few resons, 1 they dont have a date themselves yet, 2 they have a date but are keeping it to themselves to keep competition in the dark, 3 incase the game slips again and then they will get critisised for it.

Let's hope they take the time to refine online play and adjustability and to to put in poin-to-point races on mountain passes :)

i think we will start seeing more screens and info next month considering there saying its coming out in japan this month (i heard it here so dont start flaming me if im wrong) but anyways i still look for a april north amrica date.:)

does anyone know if January 6 was an official release date, that was cancelled, or just rumour? Also you say
suspense is a killer.... and a seller

not always. Black and white had a really big pre-release build up but because it was delayed by about 6 months, many people forgot about it and didn't buy it.
Although GT4 is a slightly different case in respect of teh fact that it is part of a series and people know (kind of) what to expect.

Prologue was a great appetizer, but 2004 is the year of GT4! :D
