The furai is without question my favorite car in the game. I really hope it ends up being one of the (supposed) standard cars that gets upgraded to a premium. But even if it doesnt the graphical differences dont bother me that much and I will continue to drive it as a standard because it is so fun to drive.
GTPSP debutant cars are for the most part standard. Nissan GT-R Spec V and Enzo Ferrari are the main exceptions, and yes, the Jaguar XFR did not debut in GTPSP yet still has no Premium mark on it.
Only guess would be because no one outside of Mazda (and TopGear Mag) might have gotten a look at the inside... who knows what that cockpit beheld inside it.
Only some will know the real truth about whether the cockpit is a simulation or a fantasy, if we do eventually get a Premium Furai. It would be awesome to see that cockpit; I have, FWIW, good faith in the artistry of the current generation of developers.
The Furai is an absolute Dream Car. A car that almost immediately attunes itself to the foibles of the driver - forgiving, responsive, and alike to a sudden-met dancing partner that knows your every move.
This was the car that broke the game for me, when I was stuck, and got me progressing again. I have two in my garage, that are now completely overhauled, and kept pristine, and OCD, to be savored visually now and then. But that's a whole other thing.. . .
thats sad it was my favorite concept car! I wonder what Mazda had to say about that.
