Why was I banned from chat?

Because then we don't have separate threads or off-topic posts about why Member X is banned.

To be honest, I only post bans if they have a real posting history; short-lived members do not deserve a visible public notice of any sort (but a private log is generated, anyhow).
A lot of the bans sadly are SBM. Suicide by Moderator. I only read the BUL for humor so I am both happy and sad to see that there aren't more frequent entries.

I agree with most of the people in this thread. I want to know exactly why DLR, nosiaturismo and Azuremen were banned. What did they do to get banned? Was it a big blow-up on their part in a single post, or did the mods get tired of dealing with them in the long run?

There is no requirement for us to divulge all the details of every ban. If one of us gets to the BUL, then you'll see it, but each member of staff (understandably) has different views on whether an entry is needed or not. One thing you can be sure of is every ban will be relating to at least one AUP violation.

On-topic: I was the one who banned "your brother" from chat for some flagrant AUP violations and utter lack of respect towards the staff. You joined a few hours later and aimed for the same fairly low-traffic section. Coincidence?

When (If) I get banned, please make my BUL entry epic. :nervous:

Just for that...no.

Wouldn't you rather be remembered for more than one post, one not even created by you?
