Could do with some spicing up…

I wonder who wrote that--was it a GTP member? It seems plausible, especially since they know so much about the history. It could have been Jordan.

Apparently, some haters wanted to delete it. But in the end, GTP always wins.

If someone from this site wrote it, I hope they come forward to be commended!

Wow, last time I looked up GTP on Wikipedia, it was nominated for deletion – good thing they decided to keep it and expand it. :) Definite kudos to whoever did it.

I kind of feel warm inside and stuff. Gosh, I love gtplanet! :p

Pretty idiotic considering the number of registered members. 83,000 people validates anything.

I'm afraid I must own up.

I fought GTP's corner on the second deletion review - after having fought its corner when I found it had been deleted in the first place - and they decided to put it back, probably so that I wouldn't send them all 30-page e-mails again. I replaced the article with as much factual information as I saw relevant (Wikipedia doesn't like subjective material), but of course if there's anything left anyone wants to add you can go right ahead and edit the article.

I do have, saved on my PC somewhere, a little image showing the change in GTP's banners from GTP1-8 (with a couple of gaps) which I was going to put in the article...

Nice job, very interesting to read the history of this amazing site (if you ask me:tup: ).

Nice read. Makes one kind of proud to be a member. :)

Yep, i've seen this too :)

Could you upload them for me, or show me where the full size images are now? If you could, it'd be great :) I'm just curious as to what gtp looked like before i signed up.

I should have guessed. Thanks, Famine. :)

Nice work there Famine.

I really like Wikipedia, it helped me learn more about Lost as i missed most of the first season.

Wow, very interesting 👍

Agreed! I just spent half an hour messing around with it :D

Good job, Famine. I really think you should be recieving a salary from Jordan for all you've added to this site. Has he praised you yet for that article?

That's not why I did it (and also the reason I didn't log into my Wikipedia account to do it).

Besides, he promoted me to Supermoderator... Isn't that praise enough?

Nicely done, Famine. Both in writing the article and fighting to keep it there.

No surprises that Famine started the article (and fought for it)... :D

Talk about dedication. :)

You might as well be Yoda's foil.
