will starting a new game delete all your other files?

I want to start a new game on one of my save files but i want to keep my other ones. will starting a new game delete all 8 of them?

Aw man, no need to remind me.

Off topic - I have a game on PC called Morrowind. I suffered a recent PC crash and had to reinstall everything, so I backed up all my files - apart from my Morrowind save games. I had a game with at least 200-300 hours gameplay racked up. And I lost it all.

Am I an idiot or what?

p.s. I hadn't backed up my Deus Ex save games either.

Sorry for the reminder...

I haven't done it yet, but I'm getting an external hard drive just for backing up my main hard drive.

no you it wont delete your older ones since theres many slots that you can save it in within ur gtavc or gtaIII you just save to the other ones not in use, sorry if it didnt make any sense

Good idea. I've got 2 hard drives in my PC and I regularly backup my own personal files from my "My Documents" folder onto the second hard drive.

That and I also back up my important stuff onto DVD once a week. There's nothing to teach you the value of backing up data like losing it in a system crash.
