Will you buy the Porsche Expansion for a third time?

If there is going to be a Porsche expansion, of course i will buy it. However, i'm afraid that the feel of sensation isn't the same as it was with FH2 and FM6. It was awesome to have Porsche back in a decent game in FH2 after so many years. It was great to have Porsche back on the race track in FM6. But with the upcoming Porsche DLCs for Assetto Corsa, i'm not so sure what FH3 could offer more besides some nice body-kits for the tuning-fanatics and some proper car porn. But i guess the car porn will sell it for me.

An open world to drive the Porsche in? Dirt tracks and offroading? Same reasons one might play FH3 alongside / instead of AC (or FM6) in the first place, I guess

For such a storied manufacturer, it's kinda good that they included the cars they did in both Porsche packs. Sure, more would be nice, but I sure as heck don't want to lose the 4.0 RS for the current one. It doesn't look anywhere near as good and it hasn't got a Mezger.

If it's all carryovers from FH2 and/or FM6 and nothing else? Highly unlikely.

If it's got a few new/returning/updated models (*cough*'73 2.7 RS*cough*928*cough*new Panamera Turbo*cough*), new body parts (e.g. RWB for the 930, TechArt for the water-cooled late model stuff, kit to convert the 959 to Dakar spec, etc.) and/or some interesting map/event expansion? Yeah baby!

The only one I've purchased so far is the one for FM4. I didn't bother buying FM5 since I bought my XB1 about the time FM6 was released. I haven't played FH2, and haven't purchased any DLC for FM6 yet. At this point, I'm waiting until I see the car roster to make a decision. Looking back, the FH2 expansion came with only 12 cars, with only 1/3 being older than 2000. FM6 upped it to 21 cars, with just under half being older than 2000. I find there are plenty of pre-2000s Porsches that are missing and could stand to be included, much of the newer ones don't appeal to me as much.

If it's anything like the FH2 Expansion (10 cars, minimal side content) then no. But If we get something along the lines of FM6's expansion (20+ Cars, New Environment, 15+ Hour Story Mode) then sign me up! If RWB in the credits is anything to go by, we could hopefully see some new customization come with it too!

Yup. Did in FM4, FM6 and sure will in FH3. I haven't even tried them all in FM6 XD

I know there is that RWB mentioned in the credits thing. Hmm, maybe that 993 GT2 and 991 GT3 RS we saw in the FM6 DLC screenshot were modeled ahead of time for Horizon 3? Either way, the game has been full of surprises so far and I would definitely not be surprised to see RWB or Safari 911s show up in this game.

I will probably buy it but its my impression the FH2 porsche pack was better than the F6 pack.

It really depends on the cars. If it's the same cars as featured in H2 and M6 again, I really don't think I will. Obviously, we gotta have the 930 Turbo and the 959. The two 4x4 abominations. The newest GT3 and GT2. The Cayman GT4. 918. Carrera GT. 914/6. But beyond that, it's another 10-15 cars that could be new to the franchise. Save the re-hashes as Forzathon cars or something. And instead bring back models from FM4 and new things. Carrera 2.7 RS, a SWB 911R. 356 Carrera. 993 GT2. 928 GTS. Things like that.

Ain't it the truth... if it was all just the SUVs and track queens then it'd be easy to resist, but just knowing that there'll likely be classics in there that have been used in rallying and off-road racing makes it really tempting... plus there's that stack of drift tunes to carry over from FM6 that actually have a valid use now.

Nope, looking at the prices of previous packs (first Xbox owner here overall) I have absolutely no interest in paying that amount for a manufacturer I'm not very fussed about.

If it was ever on sale, perhaps.
