Will you ever reach A-spec Level 40?

Had the game since launch and i'm at level 29.9 A-spec and just got to 35 B-Spec

No way i'm doing the endurance races on a-spec

I'd say yes, but online XP pay off is so low, it might not be realistically possible. As far as I'm concerned though A-Spec level becomes pointless after level 30 anyway.

To put this whole XP thing into context, you need a total of 34,XXX,XXX XP to get to level 40. If you make it to level 31 you've earned a total of 3,7XX,XXX XP. That's just 11% of the total XP needed to make it to 40.

If you make it to level 37 you're only halfway there.

So when I reach level 37 I've collected some 17 million points with another 17 million to go? I'm some way into 36 now and the next big project will be the Le Mans 24h which probably puts me to level 37 or at least close. Assuming that a set of seasonal events gives around 200.000 points it'd take me less than a hundred sets of those (not bad) and of course all other racing reduces the amount. I think I'll do it, not too soon but eventually.

Nope, unless some miracle will happen and PD will add 400+ new a-spec events... which won't happen of course.

The whole leveling thing is just rediciulous and completely pointless. As long as i can drive the cars i want and race online im happy.

Depends. If they add option to save while in pits for endurance races it would help. Regular seasonal events that pay good XP would be welcome too.

Essentially, if I can do it while having fun on the way its possible for me.

I will not at any point be grinding or rubberbanding, its not important enough to me.

Had the game since launch, I'm still only level 28 A-spec and level 9 B-spec. I'm in no hurry, not a huge gamer and there's not much else I'm likely to do before GT6.

I went with I'd like to but probably won't be able to.

I just reached B-spec level 40 today. That took Bob grinding away at enduros almost every night while I slept and almost every day while I worked. I can't imagine the total hours it took. But Bob doesn't have a job and family responsibilities...

I'm still sitting at 29 A-spec and the experience bar hasn't moved much at all since the last seasonals.

I love the game but I'm not going to run most of the endurance events even once, much less over and over, so I don't see the scenario where I reach 40 in the "regular" game. Perhaps some day with enough seasonals if they keep coming.

For me, this depends on:
1. How much time I have to play when I'm off for a month when my son is born (5 weeks to go!!!) I'm guessing not a whole lot of time so I'm hoping to finish most of A spec before then. B spec should be easy enough to queue up between diapers, feedings, burpings, etc.
2. When F1 2011 is released and where I am in GT5 at the time.

By my calcuilations i will reach it by the end of the year... there is no rush for me
I do the Nurburgring 4h every week once, it gives me 500.000 exp points.... so no rush
GT6 wont come in the next 4-5 years....
