I'll be coming on here almost every day while I'm at work. There's a bunch of hardcore guys/girls here that I can learn from; tuning, techniques, and whatnot.

I wish I saw this board earlier in GT5's life.

I've been here for years, and probably I'll still be here for decades because this is the best place for my Gran Turismo news. The only problem on this site is that people complain too much. They think they giving feedback but they just crying.

Well, on December 6th, I'm going to avoid the GT6 forum like the plague. I won't get a chance to play GT6 until the evening, and I don't want any details spoiled for me.

But once I've gotten familiar with the game, I'll definitely see what everyone's thoughts are.

For me, I don't want come here and read about things like customization, the career mode, etc. It's more exciting when you experience and discover these things yourself instead of knowing ahead of time what's in store. And I especially don't want to read anything negative until I've gone through the game myself. I don't want want to feel underwhelmed about the game before I even start playing it for the first time.

I'd imagine so, but who knows. After GT5 came out I remember I didn't come as often, at least to the message boards. Rarely came at all once GT5 had been out for a year or two, then got into the everyday swing of things once there was the impending announcement of GT6 until now. It's great to check on the main page for news like DLC and other updates and features, so I'll surely be coming back regularly for those. But I remember not visiting the GT5 message board much at all after GT5 came out so that'll probably be the same again. Not really by choice; it just sort of happens. Once GT6 comes out most of my GT-related free time will be purely with the game itself.

The Sub-Forums of Tunes, Photomode, Seasonals, Course Maker and Marketplace will likely be daily stops, like they were for GT5.

Oh, and the Racing Series and Clubs/Leagues forums will be especially monumental.

You're right about reading negatives, like review etc., I'll be staying away from those too. I'll still keep glued to the news section and hopefully tuning sections (if it's there from the start). I'm really crappy at tuning .

Yeah, but probably after I play the game for a couple of hours. (Might be a couple days before i can pick it up.) I also just joined (visiting for sometime) but really like this forum. Active community...so i'm gonna stay. Great way to bond with other GT people and its a good source for rumors/news.

Did you join just for updates on the game, because if so you could have shadowed it...

As for me there is more than GT here and those coming here thinking that GT is the only common point of staying is wrong, there is so much to do here that people should be easily deceived by the name. So yes I will be staying for sure, but with college I'll probably not frequent as much with finals and the new semester that follows.

I do think the new social/community feature that are going to be offered in the game may but a slight dent in GTP traffic but if you want to find people who are serious about good, clean racing then this is the place to be. You also find out things about the game you might not learn about otherwise thanks to the GTP members who search every nook and cranny of the game. This site is as much the reason for my GT addiction as GT itself. 👍
