Why when being released from the pits will my car not start right away?
Thanks, it's very frustrating when you are in the leadI've had the very same problem and its wrecked many 20 miles of Willow races. The tires are changed, the fuel is in, then we wait, and we wait, and then we move off only to stop to let the car behind us in the pit lane go first.
If you look in the 20 miles of willow thread, there's lots of talk there I think too.
Thanks i'll give that a shotHappened to me too; Usually I go in the pits miles in the lead then my ah, "pit crew" decides it's tea time. So nowadays I use either a KTM or LCC Rocket - both these cars DOES NOT require a pit stop at all.
Thanks i'll give that a shot

I've had this happen in an empty pit, but yeah, I do fly at full pelt into the pits, so I'll try slowing down and see what happens.👍I've seen two possible reasons: the one that @Ryk mentions above when the pit-lane is crowded:tup: and the second was from speeding penalties for entering the pits too fast.
Try slowing down a little before entering the pits.
I used to get speeding penalties all the time if I stayed at full-throttle when entering the pits.It surely is frustrating sitting in the pit-lane with new tires and a full tank of fuel and watching the rest of the field pass by.
Good luck!
