Winnable NASCAR?

Apparently you can get a NASCAR for a certain grade in the Jeff Gordon NASCAR Challenge? That true?

Have you got all the aids turned off, because in the Nascar Special Events they only slow you down. Are you using a pad or a wheel because I imagine it'll be a little trickier with a pad, although it's still possible.

I am using a pad, have ASM off, TCS at 5, and ABS 1.

Turn the aids off, you don't need them on the ovals and the TCS might slow you down, I don't know, but the ASM certainly does and on some events you can't turn it off, so set the ABS to 0 as this disables the ASM. Then keep at it and you'll get the Gold.

Set the Traction Control to 0 I won the Dale Earnhart jnr impala. I'm also using the six axis controller

Turn ABS to zero and laugh as you get all the golds with ease.

Daytona Outside Driving bugs me because I am 0.22 from gold time.

The 2 lap challenges are tricky, especially Daytona because if you don't go with the 48, your dead within half a lap.

I found that when I started to turn in earlier than the other cars, cutting the corner almost, I started to get better results.

They aren't easy but they are winnable, I got the 48 car for the Gold.

Yep turn off the ABS and use drafting to get to the front. Also stay away from the top of the track as they will put the squeeze on you up there.

They are not that hard once you know how to do it but you do need to turn off the ABS as the ASM is locked on and causes your speed to drop a lot in the corners. This does not happen if the ABS is off.

I had the exact same problem on the same race, best I could do was 13.002, after turning off aids, I got it on the second try.
