5 stars? I play always on 6 stars...but there isn't any huge difference between 5 stars and 6 stars.

On pro evo 5 it's a lot different. The difficulty levels are a lot different, 3 stars is the hardest to score on because the COM team doesn't attack much, they just defend. On 5/6 star you are more likely to concede goals but you are also more likely to score because the COM team attacks more and leaves the defence open. See what i mean

I barely ever win at full stars. I can easily draw and stuff, but winning is very difficult. Teams barely score on me, it's just that I can't score against them.

Yes finding the right balance is hard. Sometimes i'll have a run of three games without scoring, then a run of games where i score loads. Another cool thing, i downloaded my first patch yesterday (usually i just put the odd thing in the game here and there) and i must say i'm impressed. It changes the whole way you look at the game, adboards, menus, balls, boots, kits etc. Really cool stuff.

I've played PES5 aloads of times before...
Yes, it feels different...I agree on that. But it still feels more ''satisfying'' to win on 6 stars than 5 stars

I wish i had the cash for an xbox max drive so i could then get pes4 on xbox and use better option files. As for pacthing the ps2 version im gonna look into it later and find out hwo to do it, the results are great.

thats nothing, I gave up a goal because the GK (Ricardo) just stood in front of the ball in the penalty area like a zombie when an opposing striker was coming at him...

I've got more advanced formations now. I pretty much own. The problem now is that my ps2 does disc read errors no matter what. This sucks.

ya, Ferrnando is my best striker, so he gets to be captain.

I suggest you clean the lens of your PS2 to fix your DRE.

I had my best 30 minute game ever on PES3 just some minutes ago.
I totally pwned Sweden with Hungary (3-1). 2 of the goals were my best one ever in PES3...I still can't belive that I managed score the last one.

Edit : It was the closest game ever I've played as well.

Cool, so if you select 30 minute in the menu is that how long each half is or how long the whole game is? I usually select 15 minutes and the game lasts about half an hour.

15 minutes each half..so that'll be 30 minutes total.

I find PES3 boring, and the players only move in like 8 directions from what've seen. Oh well, it's still better than FIFA

I have now set the time at 10 minutes.

Another problem with FIFA is that all the players feel the same. In pro evo they feel like individuals, if you know what i mean.
