Not allowed on GTP though. And the ones I browse are Brazilian, so Portuguese knowledge is required.

I scored a funny goal with Makelele (France), I tried to cross to Trezeguet from the left side but somehow went straight into goal.

Just signed a 17 year old newcomer at 202Cms :D

Van Persie got a hat-trick in the first game of the second season in the first division.

I've read there's new animations mostly. They're releasing this now because of the World Cup.

El Gigante
Yep, Van Persie is pretty good. Make sure you buy Fernando Torres though, everyone else has :D

Arjan Robben from PSV! Though he went to chelsea sometime ago didn't he? Havent followed soccer for half a year, excuse me if I'm totally not up to date.

I wonder if that means that they'll rush out a version of PES6 for the world cup. Another thing i've heard that is there are more licenced teams this time around.

Edit: I stole all this from evo-web, so i'm not taking the credit for it. Lots of screenshots and some translated bits that will be in the game.

I know but it would be a good thing to get it out earlier for the world cup don't you think? Also WE10 is a bit of an odd release, because in Japan they tend to get an updated version of the old we, which didn't happen.

And oh man that intro is hillarious, it's all like 'JAPAN ARE TOTALLY GONNA WIN THA WURLD CUP MANG'

El Gigante
Actualy i think they always get it before us. WE9 (pro evo 5) was out in Japan before Europe i think?

Yeah thats how it goes.

The release cycle for each game WE game has gone like this for a while.

WE (JP Release) ----> PES (EU Release) ----> WE J-League (JP) ----> WE International/Final (Jp)

The J-League game is japan only and just has all the Japanese league and Korean league teams in it. The WE International is basically a slightly polished version with all language commentary, with updated stats and that. It also plays slightly differntly from the normal WE game as well.

WE9/PES5 is missing an International game for some odd reason because it goes.

WE9 (JP) ----> PES5 (EU) ----> WE9 J-League (JP) ----> But no Internationa/Final version

Also the american version of WE is usually called WE International, but that is just a rebranded version of the PES that we get.

God damn that's overly complicated.

Yeah, no Final Evolution version this time around. Enjoy, because this one will be the last WE game for the PS2.

I'm just glad there are more licensed teams in each new version that comes out. Maybe by the time the PS3 is released we won't need patches anymore.
