Which points system should we use?

  • 1: 40 per race, 20 pole position, 0 points second in qualifying

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • 2: 40 per race, 20 pole position, everyone else gets 2 points less per position

    Votes: 1 10.0%

  • 3: 40 per race, 2 pole position, everyone else gets 0 points

    Votes: 6 60.0%

  • 4: 50 per race, no qualifying points

    Votes: 3 30.0%

looks like i missed some race ah well im sure some lessons would have been taught had i been there

At this point, the future of the series isn't in doubt. The drivers, on the other hand, will get short leashes... I don't want to have to remove any more people, let's all figure everything out, and drive with some respect, and not like braunracing88. I'm a bit worried that people don't know the difference between blocking, and holding your line, for example. And, people don't really know the difference between an accidental tap, and a divebomb. Fix your driving standards, so I don't have to deal with the craziness, please.

To be fair, Mel, it was High Speed Ring. Sometimes blocking is necessary, especially on the last lap. There isn't, and I would hope there isn't, a single person who wouldn't try and stop themselves from getting freight-trained and losing 5-6 spots, especially coming to the line on the last lap.

However, I'd like to say that I didn't turn into Braun. I didn't try to spin him, nor did I spin him. He blocked me way more than he should've.

Races where epic, atleast from the Time-results.
R1 Top 4 within 0.5 seconds
R2 Top 7 within 0.4 seconds !!!

R1: Me made a mistake at last turn and I fought my way back to the lead pack. Drafted on final straight and passed Polar for 2nd.
I beat him by 0.005 seconds and was behind Lancer 0.058 seconds 👍
I got more draft of Lancer the final meters :D

Me won luckily the R2 although I got pushed into the walls twice at last Turn (once Mel and lancer the other time, but no blame to you it´s HSR !!).
HSR is fast and with the draft the field is very close together => the wide Track gets tight at times.
I still won and I could manage to get back into the draft.
In draft I could do mid 1:11´s without draft mid/low 1:13´s. But I think it´s the "Track-knowledge".
Some saw my line through them Turns (2 and final one) and adapted and this made them faster too :D
Sassa had the best finishing time at R2 (23:23.230 xDD).

All in all epic I liked it very much and due to HSR you have to lower the rules a bit (IMO).
 
Absolutely right Sak. The races were very intense and extremely close :D
Furthermore i think the bumps during the race weren't purposely because sometimes it's hard to hit your braking spot because you gain so much speed by drafting.

Just point out its ex TOCA3/5/6 car which was one of fastest in the field ;)
 
I sent my Volvo from testing to Mel for him to take for a spin, not sure if he ever did.

Well a top 5 finish would be nice but no great shakes expected. Just a couple finishes really.

Fast car -0.5 seconds off time
Slow driver +0.5 seconds on time :lol:

I wouldn't expect more than 8 drivers, 4-5 competitive...
