I was planning on it, but my TV broke. So I've moved the PlayStation to a new room where I don't have a place to set up my wheel. :grumpy:

I'm using a DS3. You should too. In fact, I'm even using the DS3 to type this.

Bravo on typing with the DS3  I understand though gogatrs, its hard to go back to DS3 after using the wheel. Nail some boards together for a stand. :sly: My stand isnt much better.

👍

Dont want it breaking mid race though. I've had a previous stand snap in half on me mid corner, its pretty freakin hilarious.

 DS3 ftw :D I'm glad the DS3 is wireless and that we don't use the DS2 for PS3, my DS2 is, well, let's just say it has an awkward habit with disconnecting itself, which causes frustration and while I sit there and curse it suddenly I look at a wall while going 300km/h

I've had that happen in GT4 :p I honestly preferred the DS2 though. The sticks were much firmer and didnt have those silly triggers. Really though with the firm sticks. I've heard they make adapters to use DS2's on the ps3, I'm pretty intrigued in that actually.

There will probably be a bit of input lag with that.

I'll put up a public lobby but posting the number will be difficult as my phone is out of battery and I forgot the recharger :ouch: Also start is delayed an hour

I'm not the only one, yes! XD

I actually have a DFGT, but I don't have a decent set-up for it. The table I did use had a printer on it... recently moved the printer somewhere else now, but there's no way I can get back to using it after a year or so in time for the rally.

EDIT: By the way - BST is an hour in front of GMT, right? So it's started? I can't find the room though. :indiff:

It's not startet yet, but next full hour it will :) I'd appreciate if someone can help posting the number when it's time

Oh, good! Haha, I thought I'd missed the start then lol. Is it still just Works testing or JWRC too?

Process (times are bst, subject to change):

18:00: Hopefully the room is open by now. Drivers may do final testing on Eiger K trial and/or Tarmac.

18:30: WRC cars take on SS1, aka Eiger Tarmac.

19:30: WRC cars start SS2: Eiger K Trial.

21:45: The rally should be over by now.

So the whole thing is... 3hours and 15minutes :scared:
I may not be able to do the whole thing then :(
VERY LONG, how come?
It's 2 stages?

My K trail run was pretty botched :p I sort of mentioned it after the run but about 10 seconds before I was going to take off I tried to take a drink of soda. The damn bottle exploded all over me and everywhere on the wheel. So I then had a really slick wheel while racing until it got nice and sticky.
It was horrible, I was trying to pour water onto a towel to clean the thing off, while racing. Good times 👍

However, I think it all went pretty well. Other than the noobs being idiots that you had to kick. That shouldnt happen again hopefully. I think its a good format. I did want to say though, for a shorter stage like Eiger Short track, maybe we should try a 15 second interval.

P.S. I did hit the wall on a hairpin on the K Trail run, no damage but I will admit it was a solid hit. I did finish without damage though. Also had a really scary overtake on Geeky. I could tell his car was broken, jerking all over the place and I pass him by a slivers edge going about 40mph faster. :D I thought I was gonna get smashed

OK got the stage times, counting them together now. I can already say that the winner is pretty obvious and pretty dominant :scared:
It should be in OP in a few minutes

How did I do for my first event?

You can check on the OP 👍 the times are including the penalties that may be and the "Crash Time" (what I mentioned about time loss in real life and unbreakable walls :) )

I would've been WAY faster in SS2 if it weren't for the damage. :|

Definitely. I've been counting a little and if you had no damage and stuff you would've taken the overall 2nd place 👍

Edit: just for fun I've calculated championship points if we count SS1 as a SSS :)
