so was I the only person to have a damaged car in every recce or was there someone else? I enjoyed that, it was fantastic,

I got damaged on the last recce, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle :D.

Also, ghs would be a lovely addition to the Citroën family.

ah man, I can't go through that in 2 series, I'm going to end up with some form of mental issue, I'm gonna need some head maintenance

Katie was also helping the mitsubishi team

She was?

I'm thinking of uploading another photo of myself to the "Upload a picture of yourself" thread, just so you can see how similar we look (except my hair's maybe 6 inches shorter.)

As for the complaints about the Suzuki's supposed lack-of-torque, Katie, it's cute how much you want to win, and, you're not as inconsistent, goofy, and unlucky as Dave, so you just might.

Also, ghs is cool, Dave. I'm a few tenths faster than him on rally tracks, though, I think, so you shouldn't complain about him. No, focus on the dumb northerner who plans on winning all of the snow rallies. :sly:

I haven't touched a rally car in two months. :dunce:

Exactly. You'll be rusty... a bit. I love hooning, though, so I'm great with rally cars. It's awesome, because I used to be a drifter, (before I got my G27) so I'm used to sliding/handbrake turns etc.

I'm laying the blame on being overtired, I should sleep between work and the saturday night racing festivities, I work from 11PM usually until 3AM-7AM and staying awake right through the day so I dont sleep through my weekend, thus meaning that I'm still awake at the final stage of the rally which was about 6.45AM, it becomes a long day,

yeah I enjoyed holding him up for about a lap then watching him disappear into the distance in the 3rd lap of both DTM races,

also GHG, its entirely possible for you to run this, as its alternating with DTM every week in the same time slot,

Not exactly the same time slot (about an hour later) but anyway (I'll put the next into a fancy Excel sheet soon):

I can't help but feel disappointed, though I survived my most hated rally (why so bumpy/hilly, Eiger? Oh, wait, it's a mountain face) with a decent result. I'm just curious what has suddenly happened to Toyota?

does my time include penalties???

toyota couldn't make the power, so I think they were allowed aftermarket turbo's, but by god they're fast and precise, I don't think they needed the turbo,

they are so smooth and flowing, they are both fantastic driver's, you gotta see the replay's, they're incredible,

@Mel, don't be disappointed, you beat me :) don't know what happened to Toyota, they do seem pretty fast.. Like Mitsubishi before

@Dave, yes, your time is including that little 10-second jump start (but I didn't say so as it doesn't change things greatly)

I haven't been looking for Crash Time and probably will never do so. Otherwise I'd have to sit up all night just to look at cars crashing

which jump start? my slight jump or my team mate assisted jump start???

This is the goal of Mitsubishi, too. We're being outdone? This doesn't sit well with Mitsubishi... The MMC will win this, Toyota. You just wait 'til the winter time... :sly:

I think we can steal some podiums when our mechanics forget about the Red Bull Stratos mission,

update, when our mechanics were explained the ins and outs of WRC, History, Cars, tracks etc, they thought the Stratos mission was a homage rally to the Lancia Stratos, so after extended research they filled our oxygen tanks, tires, dry sump system, fuel tank and cab with helium, it was some very interesting conversations about handling, they tried to add a rudder, sail, wings and a radar, expecting either car to take flight, hopefully a few weeks in the cooler will get their idea's re shifted,

Maybe team mitsubishi and team suzuki wont ruin us this rally

@Dave, I only noticed one on one of the 2 last stages where you accelerated 5 seconds too early so it was just to add another 5 :sly:

No large turbos people! Might need to make a rule that says you'll need to put the car on share before AND after the rally so I can check for it and if I find it's possible it has been used then I'll need to give a penalty.

It does seem a little suspicious that the cars that apparently can't make the limit otherwise wins the rally by this margin (another reason for Corolla :sly: ), but even if they did use large turbo's it'll pass this and only this time. Next time someone is caught using aftermarket turbo's there will be a penalty

I hope your referring to the one where I got pushed across the start line by my team mate, accidents happen but I was watching the lap time counter instead of the overall time counter, when I got pushed across I was all over the shop in my head  and I'm glad that the time I left early is the time added, not a monumental penalty for being nervous and confused,

but you did agree to let them use it,

Hell yeah, I was fourth overall! Considering I had about 5 seconds of time loss (thanks to a crash on W trail and recce fail on K trail reverse) I managed this one really well! Though yeah, no more aftermarket turbos on the Toyotas, or they will face the punishment of 1995 all over again

Anyway, RM, do you want any of my Touge stages for the next rally's tarmac section? I got loads of those.

but you did agree to let them use it,

Hmm, just as Henry said this could be quite fun with an actual real life reference  but this will be final decision:

NO aftermarket turbos for any cars. What happened at Eiger has happened but if any team is caught and can be proven to have used turbo, they'll be penalized. I think this is the fairest thing to do right now.

@Henry, no, we'll be using randomly generated tracks to even it out so no one has practiced them :) but thanks for offering it 👍

sweet as bro

Seriously, what have I done? I honestly have no idea what you're talking about.

What happens in Eiger, stays in Eiger.

7th? Eeesh. Do not want. I'm going to have to put my foot down and sort my act out in Italy. Suzuki, Y U NO HAVE TORQUE? No wonder Suzuki pulled out of the WRC after one season...

SUZUKI have a habit of that, turn up for a few rallies, realize they aren't competitive then leave, its annoying, they did the last 4 rallies of the previous season and weren't that far off, i think they mustered a podium out of the rally before rally GB the year before they committed full time,

Sorry about the turbos, we were told to do that. It was just stupid that we both have 700 km + at this point and still stuck at 307. We toned down the power when we put the turbo on. I guess the tourqe was a lot. But we still did practice and train so much for this. So many hours. So it's not like we won ONLY because of our turbos. Il try and get 1000 km on it to see if we can get he 315 for Italy. Thanks for the unreal rally, Rally!

And italy will be really hard because no one is getting any practice

Thanks, we just got the news that we can get the turbos right before the rally so we didn't have any time to practice. I honestly think that we did well because only practiced at 305hp, so we had to resort to finding better lines and driving cleaner for better lap times 👍

How many stages did we just run?

I believe 6

Eiger Short Track
Eiger G
Eiger W
Eiger K
Eiger Short Track Reverse
Eiger K Revers (also thunder stage)

Yea I know. I added up to 13:20.xxx minutes for my times. I didn't know how he got 17 minutes. I know of the penalties, but it was still too much. But I had missed one. Its all good
