:scared: He's won every rally in the U.S.A, just because Stobart ford built Crammy cars ain't his fault, he'd do so much better in a proper ford,

why is it always some bozo that gets to play in a muscle car... to be precise the fatter version of my car with Ken Block and his Fiesta,

and this Red ford needs to be in GT5, please give us some real car DLC, then in GT underground you would all cry

I don't know. He wrecks alot. Petter Solberg does better right? He also wrecks alot too right? In the WRC Block is almost always last, I think.

I do not see why there isn't a DLC car and track every week. The game is lame with out the extras. It could be so much better.

For one that doesn't make that much money a track and car DLC every week with the prices they tend to be would be a bit overprized but I wouldn't mind seeing a small collection every month. But I can be proud of myself: I resisted the DLC for nearly 20 months 👍

I do, see why, assuming the co creators, graphic's engineers, sound dudes, and all them IT boffin's are on a decent salary, say around 60,000 USD each, assume there is a team of 6 of each of those people I mentioned without the main guy, that 18 people requiring that's 360,000 USD right there, that doesn't include overtime, then each one of those people need a state of the art working space, includes computer, pens, paper, and a lead server, there's 10,000 USD each, 540,000 USD so far, then they need to pay sony 40,000 USD to have their boffin's look at the update to make sure it doesn't interfere with other games software, then once that's given the green light they then need to pay 250,000 USD to upload it onto the PSN network, they then need to pay PSN another 100,000 USD to advertise it on the playstation store, so that's 830,000 USD before it gets to us, hence why they make us buy it, they then would need to add on licence purchasing, travel expenses, media, etc and with the IT industry evolving everyday they need to keep up thus meaning this is an always growing figure, so in realism, we are getting this DLC stuff cheap,

I think that every 3 months they should do 1 or 2 new tracks, say a world circuit and bring back an old GT track, plus 10-20 DLC cars, for around $21, that costs around the same if not a touch more then the price of all combined recent DLC but it would be worth it then,

They already have alot of tracks scanned and they do newest to get engine sounds straight from the car.

Simraceway recreates a lot of car easily. Maybe PD can learn something from them.

They've come out with 3 new tracks, 2 real world ones, 1 made up, since the game was released. They've released a lot of cars but barely any are real race cars except the weider HSV and the GT-R N24 that Kazunori drove in the Nurburgring 24hr.

I like the prices of the DLCs. I would buy any one they came out with. They can do more though

I SMELL A DISCUSSION ABOUT KEN BLOCK. Allow me to join.

I don't know. He wrecks alot. Petter Solberg does better right? He also wrecks alot too right? In the WRC Block is almost always last, I think.

Much like Dave said, Ken Block has won the 100 Acre Wood rally 6 times in a row. That is a rally, won by Ken Block, and only Ken Block, for the past 6 years. He has only been rallying for 7 years. He is also very successful at rallycross, when people don't shunt him off the track. At X Games 18 he won silver in rallycross after coming a close 2nd to Sebastien Loeb, whom we all know is invicible in everything. However, if it wasn't for a puncture, Ken would've won that race.

In 2005 I think it was, he sold his company DC Shoes to Quicksilver so he could pursuit his childhood dream and create the Monster World Rally Team. In 2007, in Portugal, Ken took part in his first WRC rally. He is one, if not the most successful American rally driver and has scored the most WRC points than any other American. His best WRC finish was 4th, which if you look at the WRC championship standings, is very good compared to the world best. Most of the time he scores within the top 10 in a WRC rally. Before becoming a rally driver, he was a very skilled snowboarder, skateboarder and motocrosser.

Now turn around and tell me he can't race.

You stole my heart

tuns out he is also very handy in a V8 super car, he got within .800 of the fastest lap at sandown raceway which was set by Jamie Whincup on said day, Ken did that in a 6 year old car, and for that season would have put him about 9th on the grid, not bad considering he only did 10 laps,

So rally this weekend. Who has a Co-Driver?

James, the rally is next weekend, not this weekend. November 10th. :p

That's right, it's round 1 of DTM this weekend then WRC on the 10th.

I take both of the Subaru drivers will be there, which still leaves a spaces at:

Citroën
Suzuki
Peugeot
unless the current signed-ups get replying to my old reminder (hmm, we just might have the first victims for the Hall of Flames  )

*Goes to edit DTM post.*

Nothing happened! :sly:

Anyways, I'm somewhat ready. If I've got yet another week, I can possibly get some practice in on Friday (of both this weekend and next) in preparation, depending on how many people send in videos, for DTM.

Team subaru booking an early flight this time

 👍 team Subaru :)

Metalgear, you said you had a friend that wanted to join? I think there's space for him and a few more :)

I mayyyyyy want to join ;)

Can't tell which cars have openings, but I would prefer a premium car (not a car collector AT ALL) I may not have the standard car(s).

Oh, and HI guys!

There are spaces at Citroen, Suzuki and Peugeot.

I have all the standard rally cars that are sendable, so if you're struggling for cars let me know. :)

I'll go for either the Citroen, or the Suzuki. :)

Yeah I got him to register to GTP already as well, need to get him to make a registration post to the rally but he'll be there. Is he allowed to make his car decision or will that be a last minute thing before the rally in case someone barely avoids the Hall of Flames?

Hey Polarbear :)

Let's pretend Polarbear takes the space at Citroën, this leaves Metalgears friend to select from Suzuki, Peugeot (hopes for this  ) and possibly Toyota with North_Korean maybe unable to continue due to times conflicting with indoor soccer. But tell your friend he for now can put the open spaces in priority and then he/she'll just take the open spot highest up his/her list :)

Hey Polarbear :)

Hi!

Let's pretend Polarbear takes the space at Citroën

Or let's not. What does Henry think of this? I'd be worried if polar had Henry's tune. :sly:

Yes, we all hope that Suzuki can find a second car. :grumpy: Not Peugeot, Rally, that's too easy for you. KT, in a word, is awesome. I sense teammate coming.

Dammit Canada.

Shouldn't everyone do that?

Hi again

Or let's not. What does Henry think of this? I'd be worried if polar had Henry's tune. :sly:

Suzuki is available too.. We never know which one he'll decide on :)

Yes, we all hope that Suzuki can find a second car.

I hope all teams can have 2 cars

:grumpy: Not Peugeot, Rally, that's too easy for you.

If only you knew..

KT, in a word, is awesome.

[meme]What if I told you..

KT will win this championship[/meme]

I sense teammate coming.

Me too, don't know why.

Dammit Canada.

No comment on that

Shouldn't everyone do that?

We've all found our places but that might be worth considering for season 2.

No comment on that

Indoor soccer; the most awesome (well, the only) way to kill a Canadian winter, without falling into a frozen lake...

In other news; surely, you knew that the Canadians get our speed from something. The top 3 in points are Canadian? :sly: :sly: :sly: :sly:

Yeah and I'm not satisfied with that  BUT now I might FINALLY be competitive.

By the way, I've got rid of my co-driver, or more specifically, he has not shown particular interest, but I don't really care. He'd only slow me down anyway, he's REALLY slow in just noting something for a stage (for the Peugeot National we took about 5 minutes just driving SS1 and making pace notes which were later cancelled/left at home  ) plus his notes are like "and then we have a medium left" when I'm already halfway through :grumpy:

I think we need a 3rd driver in case MrM decides to kidnap... I mean are plane crashes and we die once again.

If Geeky is no longer driving for Suzuki, does that mean I'm in the Number 1 seat, or still Number 2?

Hello, I'm Aesys' friend. He told me about the WRC and I'm really interested in joining.

My PSN and GTP id is garfunkle55. If the seat is available I'd like to take the 206.

You're kidding, right? The ninjas we disposed of had blue shurikens; a sure sign that it's Subaru trying to kill Mitsubishi drivers. Darn shame, such violence is unnecessary. The Mitsubishi's running well, and... asides from metalgear's penalties, we're on a good pace.

Oh, oh, what's that supposed to mean? :D It's not that bad, I've made it turn under braking at least

Otherwise, if he's interested, he can join. Citroen needs points you know :D
