Wrc is put in artificial coma due to low entries

Guys I wont make it.. Again.....

Spaz were waiting, stop humping the Keith

Spazmaticality
Keith, no wonder

Strange we also have a keith and he put my car on the wrong boat.

are you wearing his DC racing style shoes and touring SPY sunnies?

like me?

I wish I could wear his SPY glasses! Unfortunately my eyes are crap and I need prescription sunglasses. :grumpy:

[RANT]Right, I've had enough of people signing up to stuff and then not turning up. WRC is now on hold until further notice, because people just don't show their backsides. If you don't have enough time to show up, don't bother signing up. I'm sick to death of signing up to promising stuff and then it all goes down the damn drain because people think it's alright to p!ss all the others about and not bother turning up. Granted, some of you have real excuses and this is only a one off, but why the hell did Rally have to message all those people who signed up, and then suddenly stopped talking to us and didn't say anything? People are going out of their way to go to these events, hell, Dave has to wake up at 4am to go to them, and then people just don't turn up? It's downright disrespectful and rude. Everything I join dies because of no interest, and I'm getting f'ing sick of it.[/RANT]

My wheel clamp broke :( last night at about midnight...

As I've said, I'm a reserve, but with limited time. I can't commit to this fully, but if I could race, I would.

OP updated, funnily enough with just about the same rants as KT just made :)

Also time of race will most likely change to being one or two hours earlier

Oh My God you still haven't started? Theres still hope

No, we're restarting. Things turned out pretty low-numbered, so I've made the new and more informing OP :)

Also I need to ask:

Do we want support classes and short (3-4 stages) rallies or
just the WRC and about 6 stages per rally?

I like the new OP..... So whens the restart? Is it today or someother time. Because ive got alot to do with the move

It'll be another day.. Probably December or later.

I will stick with the Ford, Factory team....even though Keith didn't get to shine,

Im sticken to subaru. I wouldnt mind support classes

what would these support classes be? Group B? PWRC? JWRC? SWRC? Dakar's? Pikes Peak racers?

Pwrc and jwrc im guessing

You're right marco, would be PWRC and JWRC, running alternate rounds, e.g. JWRC runs round 1, PWRC round 2 etc. Though I'm thinking while we wait for it to start up again we can have some sort of Rally Raid event along with some spot races.

HenryT / H_enry_T / Citroën C4 WRC '08 (Subaru Impreza WRC '01 if someone else wants my spot :D)

Definently joining this, the independents would be a good half-support group as well.

I'm playing with the thought of changing the points system to the top-8 and have 1 room full with WRC cars and after that have 10-12 support class cars along with a few independents, but I fear it might get a bit too complicated.

Its all in how you word it. We could before the other classes join the room do qualifying two races 8 cars each 4 laps. Top 4 from each race make it the other 8 leave. Then the other classes join.

metalgear696/Aesys. I'll stick with the Evo. And for the excitement of bringing back JWRC I do want to see support classes. If we cut the number of stages, would everyone run 4 stages? Dual class entry running 8 stages would be intriguing. :)

Also thinking about the upcoming couple months. While I hate to wait, we're coming up the Thanksgiving and Christmas, Holidays, etc. It could probably do for overall attendance if we want until January? Weekly or bi-weekly events/fun runs would keep interest in the meantime. Hopefully.

I also share the same sentiment about not showing up for events. I dont have to get up as early as some but I could still certainly sleep  I take it all fairly stoically though.

Yes, 4 stages per class :)

Well, I'm working with the idea of having a Paris-Dakar-ish race during December/early January and, though not related to WRC, I'm working on a Spa 2 Hour Endurance race.

 👍

What do you think of my idea Rally?

Seems more like for a road race to be honest. Depending on things I'll look at it (which means I have to look into this, marcos SSS idea, gonna be busy  )

Well thats how they do it in real life.

Katiegan / wolfdragon97 / Sticking to my trusty Suzuki. We've formed quite a bond and I'm hoping to use it for a whole season, not just one rally.

I agree with Aesys. I personally think we should run it along side the WRC because December is going to be a busy month for most people. Whereas I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, I'll still be busy around that time as it's my birthday.

The first round of the 2013 WRC starts on January 15th (actual rally starts on the 18th, I think) so perhaps we could start this one on the Saturday, which will be January 19th? New year, new WRC. I personally think it's too late to start a race series now.

My fault; this car auction thing is quite interesting.

Result: I'm a proud owner of a 2005 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5. :p

So, yes, my absence was valid. I'm sorry, regardless.

Something to do with a Mitsubishi, though, as far as GT5's concerned.

Don't worry Mel, I'm not angry at you. I know this was a one-off excuse and it's valid, and I don't mind those. It's just when people don't tell us or keep putting it off every week.

Congrats on the Scooby! Good condition? She hasn't been thrashed with every inch of her life like most Scoobies, has she?
