No worries Sassafrass, Canu and myself had the same concern over the pit stops. The series before this we all ran a one make Lupo Cup, it worked well there, but as mentioned, homes has agreed to remove that ruling.
 
Hey Sassafras I think possibly Homes means you'll get your qualifying and sprint race points, say if you get dc in the main race. I don't think you get any points for a race if you're disconnected in it. That's why your 2 worst results don't count :)
What car you guys driving?
 
Me and Greest are in all black camaros. Race team name is Interstellar Tool & Die. Lol. I didn't confirm that part with Greest.

@Ally - before Homes left SA for UK we raced RC Cars together at Tokai RC Club. Its a little of "remember those days bud" kinda things. Nice Homes

@TC - Dude come race, its at 9pm....it will be cool to have you in the series.
 
Hey boys, I am still in for this but, I have an issue, well 3000 odd people on the West Rand Have and issue. Last sunday, the Clearwater exchange was smacked by some thunderstorm static discharge. Suffice to say, half the dam exchange was wiped out and now we do not have lines let alone ADSL. No resolution place yet. I have swapped my router 4 times since new year and all of this is due to these wonderful highveld storms we are having. I will jump into the series just as soon as i get my dam line back

Ah Ok. Thought it might have something to do with that... Been to an event, way back when it was held at Blue Route Mall (Which we are currently busy redesigning).

Quite cool club though...
 
I am still doing it....you should come check it out again, we have a jol. We at Steenberg under ground parking now, waiting for Blue Route to be finished
 
Oh ok. Well let me know wen u guys do it and I'll make a pop in. Blue Route will be finished end of March. The new Basement has a brand new smooth concrete surface bed so it should be great for RC cars...
 
Ally we race every Thursday night....I've seen the basement parking, looks really good. Would you know if there are plug points somewhere, been looking.

@Canu - Sorry bud...this thread is dead, so a little chat is all good. LOL
 
There are a few plug points all over mostly near the new lobbies thats being built. Some of it is not installed yet but should be there when they completed.

Sorry guys...there wasn't much response for a practice session earlier so I ended up doing an endurance race.

Anyone in this series can send me a FR, as the series gets underway I will hold practice rooms leading to each event when Homes is unavailable.
 
Did I miss the race? People are online but its not showing them in a room. I thought you guys were 8 hours ahead of me. Room opens at 7pm GMT, 11am for me?
 
sorry i couldn't race but the lag was getting worse so i didn't want to ruin it for you
