World Endurance Interlagos 2Hour Special Event. COMPLETED.

Here we have a one off special event that is taking place on Friday 27th November 2020.

This event is loosely based on the WEC (my favourite racing series) and will have two classes battling it out for honours in a 2 hour endurance race around the Interlagos Circuit, Brazil.

The race lobby will be open at 19:30 (UK Time) and Qualifying will begin at around 19:45.

Classes:
Gr.1 and Gr.3

Gr.1 Cars:
Toyota TS050 Hybrid '16
Audi R18 '16
Nissan GT-R LM Nismo '15
Porsche 919 Hybrid '16

Gr.3 Cars:
All of them!

The in game BOP will be used for this event. I'll post the cars BOP on the entry list as it takes shape.

RACE SETTINGS:

Qualifying: 12 Minutes
Start: Rolling
Grid Order: Fastest First
Boost: Off
Slipstream Strength: Real
Visible Damage: On
Mech Damage: Light
Tyre Wear: 3x
Fuel Depletion: 2x
Initial Fuel: Default
Grip Reduction: Real
Race Finish Delay: 180 Seconds
Tyres: Racing Medium Only
Tuning: Prohibited
Ghost: Off
Penalties: Strong
Side Contact Penalty: On
Driving Aids Prohibited: Countersteering Assistance
In game time/weather: 9:30/sunny

QUALIFYING SETTINGS:
Tyre wear and fuel usage will be switched off for this session.

RULES/REGS:

The only regs I am putting in place for this event is please can you use the WEC style number plates. Red for Gr.1 and Green for Gr.3.

Also can you please use the "official" WEC number font along with the "Hy" and "Pro" decals and apply them as standard for the series. So placement should be on each door and the front/bonnet of the car.

There are PLENTY of the WEC number plates and numbers to download within the game .

EDIT: Once a Class reaches 11 entries that class will be full. That way we won't have a Class with under 5 cars in it.

As in all of my events this race is aimed for drivers of all skill levels. I don't mind which class you decide to enter. There are no restrictions on Driver Ratings in either.

Thanx fort the invite. I'm afraid I will have to decline. After doing the Brands Hatch event it was pretty clear than my hands can't handle holding the controller for much more than 1.5 hours. This makes me sad, I remember doing 4 hour stints for GT3 . Has anyone else noticed the PS5 icon show up on their PS4 menu?
