Welcome to the World GT series sign up thread, ive decided i will run this series first, then when this series finishes i will unleash the GTI Challenge up :D.

There are 10 teams, we will keep with hopefully 2 drivers per team, but at request i can push to 3. The team names are generic, when you post your details, post your new team name and tell me the car your entering in.👍

And-Jet Racing: Espirit V8: Andge08
Team GB: XKR-R: GT_Fan2005 and Benedict and Bee
UDO (?): DB9 Coupe: Sukerkin, Daan and Famine
KND Motorsports: M3 Coupe: KevinD and A7X
Team RUF: RGT: Ebiggs13
Alcohol United Racing Team: Skyline GTR R43: Electric
Nitrobee Racing: Viper SRT10:
Team Call: C12: SnizBute and Appie17
HRT (Haswell Racing Team: Monaro CV8: Blake and ls2_297
Team Merc: CLK55 AMG:
Sudden Impact Racing: Skyline GTR R34: Boomboy
TVR Racing: Tuscan: EJR_1
Drew Racing?: M3: Drew22

Theres the 10 teams, you can, as i said, apply your own team name, but the cars and the power/weight percentages may not be changed, i will do that myself if it needs to be, new ones will be on soon.
These are tracks we will be running.

18th-20th November: Laguna Seca: 14 laps.
25th-27th November: Deep Forest: 18 laps.
2nd-4th December: Suzuka Circuit: 9 laps.
9th-11th December: Trial Mountain: 15 laps.
16th-18th December: Cote D Azure: 14 laps.
CHRISTMAS BREAK!
29th-31st December*: Twin Ring Motegi Full: 11 laps.
6th-8th January: Tokyo R246: 12 laps.
13th-15th Janurary: El Capitan: 13 laps.
20th-22nd January: Nurburgring Nordschleife: 4 laps.
27th-29th January: Fuji Speedway 2005 F: 50 laps.

*This is not a mistake, this race will run from the Thursday to Saturday to allow for New years day to be free for all:).

Race structure is simple, Race starts on Friday, the deadline is Sunday, results would be up sometime on the monday (allowing for people around the world to get times in). No qualifying, nothing making it confusing, just straight forward, arcade mode racing.

The AI settings are up to you, the reason we do it in single race mode is to allow the lap amounts to be set. No pit stop are required.

So start signing up Fellas and Felines!

Nice one Ash 👍

Erm... Think I will choose the Z06 :D

Team name I do not know yet, wait and see if i get a partner.

Gotta have the good ol’ HRT (Haswell Racing team :D) in the Monaro. Gotta have a token Aussie.

looks like you just scored yourself a team mate 👍

I would like the Nissan Skyline GTR 34.
And I would like team name changed to Black Hawk Motorsport,if possible.
Als,if possible,I would like to drive for myself and myself only.

I'll take the Lotus Espirit V8 thanks.
I'm not sure about a team name yet.

Electric.......

That will be fine, however, under these circumstances if there is another driver who wishes to drive in the Skyline also, a seperate team will be made. Is this ok?

As for me, il take the Jaguar XKR-R.

hey bee, since we're partners in running the v8 series, how 'bout we team up for this?

Am I reading right? does that say 50 laps of Fuji 2005?

wow, nice to see some guys from the v8 series. how y'all doin?

Just fine, thanks. You know you can edit your posts right? The double post wasn't necessary.

Hopefully me driving the Yellowbird with full power will help out here...

Im gonna test the cars again a bit later just to even them out as much as possible. At the moment, the DB9, Skyline and Corvette are just a bit too quick and the CLK55 is a bit too slow. Expect the final % figures on all the cars to beposted and confirmed sometime tnonight or tomorrow.

And eboggs? nones driving a full power yellowbird:D

A small question on the testing, GT_FAN.

When we ran the Insanity Endurance Series a couple of years back, we tested the candidate cars at a selection of the venues with a number of drivers at the wheel and thus were able to get a balance between those cars that were better at straight line performance and those with superior handling in the twisty bits.

If the cars for this are selected and tweaked purely on power to weight and speed then I think that those of us predisposed to the more luxurious marques (like Aston's or Merc's) will find themselves at a disadvantage.

That said, please pencil me in for a seat in the DB9 :D.

Would you like a team mate, Mark? :D Is the DB9 available in BRG?

Stick me down for a DB9 too.

I've been absent from the OLR malarky for a wee while but this sounds like a good series to get back into it. I won't be able to spend much time on it though....

Yep, 50 laps around Fuji for a spectacluar Finale to the championship.

@ Sukerkin, ive been testing them on test course and autumn ring mini, ran several laps in each car and took the fastest lap, only small adjutments need to be made i think, if after round 1 its looking a bit uneven, then we will arrange something else, but we are in arcade mode so im hoping it will all go smoothly.

@Daan - sure thing my friend, I'd be delighted to team with you ... just remember that you'll need a Jaguar hat and some driving slippers tho' (oh and a hip flask too). You correctly guessed that I'll be looking for a green DB9 to run in this ... ponders ... how on earth did you know :D.

@GT_Fan - excellent to hear that you've made allowance for big, heavy cars on the twisty tracks 👍. I too hope for a smooth, tweak and hassle free series (it's always a nightmare for the steward if he has to change the rules after start of play).

It's a shame that it's run in arcade, as that doesn't allow you to fine tune the balance and handling of the car (and I always think that the cars handle differently in arcade than they do in the other game mode). But, on the upside, it does permit you to somewhat alter the behaviour of the AI through Difficulty and Tyre amendments.

Looking forward to it anyhow. I won't be able to put in stacks of hours but it'll be nice to take part in an OLR series in civilised cars once again :).

Any chance I can join Suke and daan in the DB9?

UDO needs to induct a few new members... :D

wow, 50 laps of fuji. that should be gruelling!!!

me and Bee have decided that our team will be called Nitrobee Racing.

:D

Can I drive McMerc? If not slap me into a Audi lemans concept.

Famine

Yes that should be fine, il amend the 2 and 3 driver rule, im hoping we can get a few more 3 driver teams.

er, GTFan, our team is "Nitrobee Racing", not just Nitrobee. Thank you :)

Thats wha it was originally;)

but it clearly shows in the first post that you put our team name as Nitrobee. You forgot to put the "Racing" bit at the end. would you be so kind as to put the Racing bit on. Thank you :)
