Anyway. You have little over a week to get testing, Race 1 is on Laguna Seca so go for it, your cars power and weight for the arcade mode quick tune are in the other thread.
 
I want to join, but I don't really want any of these cars. Anyone want to suggest some other cars that are in this class. I don't feel like going and looking for one. And am I allowed to ask for a different car? :lol:
 
what about the dodge viper srt-10? would that be allowed, or is that too powerful? why not the viper gts?

Ok. Did some looking around on GT4 a little while ago, and decided that I would like to drive the TVR Tuscan Speed 6, if that isn't too much to ask. That's the new one BTW. If you could get the weight and power set up for it that would be great. :)

Okay, it's official: Andge08 and I have teamed up to form And-Jet Racing in the Esprit V8.

I did try testing both of the TVR Tuscans, but even with full weight added on it was still far to light, i didnt experiment with its power too much, so it may have to be a lot less powerful than the other cars, i will experiment on the 2 tracks for a while though and see what i come up with.

@Nitro, this is the same with the Viper, il give it a whirl tonight and see what happens.
 
GTfan2005 im sorry but I cant drive the Merc CLK AMG. Its rubbish and im not even that fast of a racer.

The skyline corvette and DB9 seem to be the fastest three of the cars I did try out which included the M3 and CLK55.

Hope you can fiddle with the TVR's to get them into this series or if not maybe the 2nd generation honda nsx-r but if thats too light maybe the 2nd generation acura nsx?
 
Is the ZZII allowed?
If not, how about a Yellowbird?

Calm down! Y_W, the cars arent fully fiddled yet as such, still got more to do, the DB9 vette and skyline in particular will be being toned down and the CLK55 will be toned up to keep it equal. Also, the NSXs, even if they have the correct weight, i feel wont have the power, but il look into it.

GTRacer, the canary, hmm, havnt actually had a look at it, but will do later, the ZZII is a no go im afraid. Too light by a long shot and i feel the result from the canary will be the same.

Now please people, theres a week to go until round 1, lets keep all car gossip to a minimum and let me get the cars equal before you complain about them not being perfectly equal, once i test the NSX, canary, Viper and the TVRs, i will test no more cars, comprendez?

Wait replace the m3 with the csl version. More squat suspension and road holding.
 
you alrite ash? i'l take an m3 if kevin D don't mind? only prob il be away from gt for three weeks from 27th dec to 17 of jan? would that cause too many problems? it would mean me missing 3 races. could a team mate race for me or anything like that etc?

I would just like to have my team name changed from"Black Hawk Motorsport" to "Alcohol United Racing Team"

This is the final team name change, and I would like to apologize in advance for making the series founder GT Fan2005 waste time to change my team name.

hey GT_Fan, any news on the car testing? just thought i'd ask.

Im all set for it, car testing, i have the results on paper, il post em up tomorrow morning.
 
i will have the Nissan Skyline R34 and my team is Sudden Impact Racing.
 
Ok. Viper SRT10 is in, cant remember the % figures but the power and weight should be 403 for power and 1517 for weight.

TVR Tuscan is a risky little bugger, it pulled simslair lap times to the ones we already have though on autmn ring and it was a tiny bit faster on test course. Power and weight on that car are to be left alone.

And the second skyline team is yours boomboy!:D

Any news on the Yellowbird? I've managed to give it similar weight + power numbers as the Tuscan and it got similar numbers comapared to it. But then it's up to you mate.

Tuscan: 360hp 1100kg
Canary: 370hp 1150kg
