GT Fan2005 Ejr has kindly let me into his team and so I will also be driving a TVR now.

Any news on the Yellowbird? I've managed to give it similar weight + power numbers as the Tuscan and it got similar numbers comapared to it. But then it's up to you mate.

Tuscan: 360hp 1100kg
Canary: 370hp 1150kg

Series starts tomorrow. Havnt got round to testing the Yellowbird yet but il do it tonight, tomorrow morning il post final power settings and in the evening race 1 will be up and open until Sunday midnight for everyone, that means, if your in the UK, post time by our midnight, if your in USA, post time by your midnight etc.

How is the RGT compared to the rest of the cars? I haven't touched it yet, I will in a few minutes, but I know that being RR it will have a little bit of a braking disadvantage and understeer to snap oversteer.

My early reference to driving the Yellowbird with maximum power was in a competiton on the Playstation forums, against other supercars. The car was great, but a few things hurt me severely. It had 0 downforce, was unstable, and had poor braking compared to the other cars.
 
Yeah, the yellowbird was a handful and its time suffered, the RGt was way too quick.

First race is up in 5 minutes.
 
Would love to particapate using the M3. Do I need a partner and team name? I feel like a retard trying to **** a doorknob! Thanks in advance for your help.
 
Right you got one of 2 options if you want to be in the M3:

1.) Ask KND Motorsports if you can join their team.

Or

2.) Ask GT_Fan2005 if you can create a new team with the M3 as the car.

hey sup guys one of my friends gave a link to this and i want in. so my team will be PROJECT.D and i have a team mate joining now we will be runing ZZ II's (i dont see any thing saying race cars so my woodone supra wont be coming out :( ) well im going to go back to the frist page and read all the rules.
 
There are no Supras or ZZIIs available to be raced in this series.
 
3 people today have asked for different cars, i cannot stress to you how annoying this is. There is a perfectly good selection of cars to choose from.
 
wait a min i ben readin and i dont like the way this car is setup. your not really racing the car you piced out. you racing some pre tuned P.O.S. and whats with banning the best of the JDM. any way i cant run this. you may as well have just set one car for all of us to run. see ya.

What thread have you "ben readin"? You "dont like the way this car is setup"? What car? There are 12 cars available in this series, not just one.

That's not really friendly. The host tried his best to organize an event like this. If you don't like the rules, you have the right to say that ofcourse, but not in an insulting way like you did now.

Btw, in the World GT Round 1 thread one of the cars you could choose is the Corvette, but I don't see that car listed in this thread. Is it a legal car to use or not?
 
Hmm, maybe the Z06 got lost somewhere, that was definatly an available car. EYou can also see that Bee chose it at first before changing.

And now i know what happened, because bee wanted to change to the viper, after testing i changed the vette to the viper.

They aren't banned. They just haven't been selected.

Read the thread through and you'll see that GT_Fan tested several cars to ensure an even and equal field. Several cars have had their power or weight altered in a form of handicapping in order to facilitate this. The "best of the JDM" simply wasn't included in the testing, because if you had to test every single car in the game first, then handicap them so they are evenly matched, you'd never get on with the racing.

Why you'd want to hop in a Skyline, RX-7, NSX or GTO when you could be driving a Ruf RGT, TVR Tuscan, Viper SRT-10 or an Aston Martin DB9 escapes me though.
 
It's also true that the series was supposed to be for GT cars ... Grand Touring ... you know, what GT is supposed to be about (but isn't).

The fact that there is a Japanese (or indeed American, sorry chaps) car in the series at all compromises that somewhat but the host did what he could to make sure there was something for everybody.

Still it comes as no surprise to anyone that knows me that I applaud Famine's last statement wholeheartedly :lol:.
 
And thats exactly why i didnt consider the RX7 or GTO at all, A) they wouldnt have been evenly matched, B) this is GT not Street racing.

The skyline was always a hard decision but included it as it is the only Japanese car in the series.
