I'm confused Homes! You amended the windows to 11,12,13 and 23,24,25. ADD the formation lap to that and we should stop between 12,13,14 and 24,25,26 on the screen

Will - I had a similar problem with my old router/supplier 'talktalk'.

What I did to resolve it was I set my PS3's IP address to a fixed static address, which forces the router to assign the IP address that the PS3 tells it to (in the PS3 system settings).

Often routers automatically assign IP addresses, so imagine you have 3 devices that are connected to the internet they would probably have the following IP addresses:
10.0.0.1
10.0.0.2
10.0.0.3

To make sure you avoid potential conflicts with other devices (that may also have pre-defined IP addresses), it might be a good idea to make the last 'octet' of your PS3's IP address a random high number (but not higher than 254). Example 10.0.0.167

I would also reccommend that you activate your PS mac address to your wireless settings in the router. This will automatically asign the ip address to your ps mac wireless settings. Alternatively, grab a hammer and moer the kak out of the router [ In english that means beat the crap out of it]
Now for the race, will add the additional lap. 9 lapper, no pit. 37 lapper, pit stops are 12 to 14 and 24 to 26. Yes, I will host room 2's races. Please send me a FR if you are not on my list - PSN ID is Zuat
 
Forgot to add, for Gt5 you will also need to activate the UPNP setting, this will also assign a dedicated game IP. I find that with this on, GT5 runs better

its funny how it decides to work just as im about to ring my local game store to find out about ps3 prices
found out what was causing it
for my ps3 i use power line routers which sync to each other one connects to a socket near ur ps3 and the other a socket near the router plug Ethernet cables into the ps3 and the main router
with the bad weather round me we had several power cuts which has knocked them out of sync so what i needed to do was turn both power line routers off and on with in a short time of each other then it works

Tell him to stay online or switch to your profile before 18:00. That way you will still be online even during the maintenance...
 
Nooit.... wtf. They are so full of it. Last time they were supposed to do maintenance I signed in and played all night.

Why does Will say that the race is already coming up? Last time I checked (less than a minute ago) it read in the OP that the quali begins at 19 GMT...
 
i am hosting tonight

we are doing the quali for autumn ring sprint race before rome as we then have to find a timeframe when we can all do the feature length
 
My ps3 keeps telling me that a conncection to the server cannot be established. Is this just me or does anyone else have this?
 
well done 2 every 1 in series 2
both sprint and feature races were very close
for entire 37 laps we had battles for 1st 3rd and after the pits 5th aswell
me and carbon were battling till the last corner same with scale and skengdigi
 
Room 1 last night was full of fast paced Lupo's. WOW....we were on it. The racing was super tight. BYO was on fire?

Well done to Canu and BYO, you guys were on top form, Homes and Myself had the pace but just couldn't close that gap after our slow motion pit stop.

iJigg you should never have pulled out man, a long race like that and the pace you had, you could of had a good result. I was absolutely stone last after all the bumps but eventually made up the time to fight Homes for third.
