Sorry 'bout that mistake for my car...
redface.gif
I'll change to my Tacoma, Trial Celica, or some other weapon I can mess with...

Yes it is, feel free to change that one Jet, no biggie. U can hit 425 on the nose IF u can manage it.

Quick question: Can I select one of numerous Nissan Skyline GT-R's to enter Open 4WD,as long as they aren't tuner cars like ie.Nismo R-tune?

Yes, as long as it's not a Tuner car and is less than 425HP after upgrades.

Actually, I think tuner cars may be eligiable for the Open classess, but I am not %100 on that.

Jump_Ace?

Hell yeah I'll allow tuner cars, just no racing cars of any kind. So go for the Nismo dude!

Just a reminder that I need some specific car selections and upgrades from y'all by Sunday. U still have a few days, just shoot me a pm or post it here.

Great man love to have you onboard! Nice choice too btw.

Um, daft question, but can I enter more than 1 more per class?

I really want to drive the Lancia in the Historic, but I also want the Nissan. Probably a daft bloody question, sorry.

Is that the racing model of the Elise? I cant remember off the top of my head, if it IS the racing model you'll have to choose another car. However if it is just the regular model your good to go ;) Nice to have ya onboard Casio, you are always excellent comp in the wrs.

@Kolyana, to save myself the headache I'd like you to choose one car per class, sorry. But I think no matter which car you decide on you'll really enjoy.

no offense meant but IRL Motorsport Elise was made by Lotus as a special model of the Elise just for racing in Loutus Elise cup held in UK and Japan(atleast I think),so if this what I just said is true, then Lotus Motorsport Elise must be viewed as a race car,and thereby should not be able to enter in that class.

(well that is what I think, and I might be wrong,so don't get angry at me please!)

Think you may be right, the Motorsport elise influenced the looks of the "Exige" heavily which was a road car but didnt share the Motorsport models central driving position etc, im not sure if its a racing model though. Jump ace im going to have a go in the open 2wd on this mate will post my car details later when im at home 👍

regards

Dave

I'll change it guys if it's to much trouble, I just really liked the look of it and it is a blast to drive an MR on dirt and snow.

I really don't know if it's a race car or not. I suppose you could ask the question, what defines a race car? It does only cost about 80,000 - 90,000 Credits off the top of my head. It also comes with Medium Sport Tyres standard, rather then Racing Tyres. I believe you can also buy a wing for it.

But like I said, I'll change if you deside.

Okay guys,I am officialy in these series.

Good luck to all my competitors. :)👍

Currently undecided, but I'm loooking at:

Choice 1 (Peugeot):
WRC: 206 Rally Car '99
Historic: 205 Turbo 16 '85

*OR*

Choice 2 (Lancia):
WRC: Delta HF Integrale '92
Historic: Delta S4 '85

I *SO* wanted to go with the Bluebird 1600 SSS '69 ... it just looks so damn sexy ... but I don't think that I'll be able to turn the 128hp into anything competitive. I'll look at that and the 240RS '85 as a possible Nissan third choice tonight.

Troubling...I see both sides' points and they are both valid. I'll think about it a while and post my result later this evening.

Okay so after looking at the posts I am going to go with the Lotus being a race car, I think that was Lotus' intentions with the car. Sorry Casio, but give the Lotus Elise '00 a whirl and see if you like it, I believe its the faster of the non-race cars. Anyone need anything else I'm here.

Aw, c'mon Jerome. At least give it to him as a Group A... It would do okay there, wouldn't it?

Boy o boy....the only thing is that I want them to be Rally Race Cars, not just regular race cars in Group A. As I dont want to see any Ford GT Race Cars pitted against a Subby or w/e. Sorry Casio. You still have some time to choose another car. I really hate to be a Nazi about it, but sometimes we just have to draw the line. Hope u guys understand.

Jet: GNX! Rock on! :) I was originally planning on using that car, but I just didn't like how it wanted to slide so I settled on my DeLorean. This outta be a fun division. :)

 I read that and didn't believe my eyes. My original choice was the DeLorean but I didn't like how she felt on the ice. Does it get any better? I had a tough time chosing between the GNX and my Ruf CTR '86. But I didn't want to be a sheep and obliterate everyone.

But, anyway, thanks. :)👍 And rock on in that DMC12!!

That's ok, I'll find something. But I believe the other Elises do not have fixed roofs? Maybe? I'm not sure.

It's all cool, I'll find something else wierd and whacky in the world of GT.
