Ridge Racer type 4 for PS1.

The back of it said that playstion magazine or sumthin said it was better than Gran Turismo so I bought and found out it was complete and utter crap.

I dunno which Ridge Racer it was, but the one I tried for PS1 was rubbish: foot down, left, right, bored now...

Lamborghini American Racing. That game had no playability whatsoever.

And, on another note, the Test Drive series on the PSX/PSone was also seriously lacking. Maybe if I was more of an Arcade Gamer they would have been fun, but those Test Drive games never lived up to Test Drive 2. Thankfully, the game recieved a serious makeover for the PS2 and was 10x better, with more replay value to it.

TheCracker
'Pssst!' for the ZX Spectrum - so full of bugs!

*slap*

Along with Rise of the Robots, I nominate International Rugby Challenge and Kennedy Approach (which is, of all things, an Air Traffic Control simulator).

I'll go with
Bible Adventures ( :P ). It's like Jehovahs witnesses invading your electricals, polergeist style.

Deadly Towers (Nintendo something-or-other) This game was originally called, "Crappy Towers," but when seventeen play testers went on a homicidal rampage, its name was changed to remind us all of that cold, bloody morning.

In the manual-
"SHORT SWORD -- You start the game with this sword. It is so weak, you feel lonely (you have no confidence in this sword)."

Bubsy 3D- Oh dear lord. I can only assume the controls were designed, created and tested by the society for the blind. And too many colours for one game.

Club Drive (Jaguar)- Sweet merciful Lord. The handling appeared to have been modelled on a drunken man, and the collision detection modelled on a Routemaster in an Asda car park. Take it away!

Custer's Revenge- Never heard of it? Google it (but shield the eyes of children and ladies present)

With the exception of Formula 1 '97 (which I thought and still think is one of the best racing games ever made for Playstation) every Formula 1 game released for Playstation and Playstation 2. The AI on these games are pathetic, you can pass like 10 cars in one corner which is complete BS. Racing in the Wet is no different from racing in the dry. There is supposed to be car damage in these games, you can set the damage to max and crash into a wall going 200mph and come away with little or no damage at all.

Great Description there.

But honestly, the worst games are the ones produced while the corresponding movie is made. (Eg. Pirates Of The Carribean, Shrek, Over The Hedge)
Mainly because they are rushed in to stores extremely quickly.

I agree. They usually have limited playability and replay value is usually 0. The only series of games that were good that shared titles with the movies were the Star Wars and Star Trek games.

grind session [ps1] is a pain

dragon ball z ultimate battle 22 [ps1] $60 for that all you can do is fight with other characters nothing to unlock or get through or anything

Quote from the Funny vid thread
It's totally the worst game in history, ever.

Bahahahaha!

That's great, really. Did you see the ultra-downforce and power presented by that truck over the mountains? 👍

Vagrant story for PS1, everything about it was clumsy and I couldn't be bothered to play more than 10 minutes of it.

Tomb raider angel thingymaig for PS2, a game whiich was almost as clumsy as Vagrant Story, most of the time I couldn't see where I was going, jumping was hell, and I had no idea how to use weapons.

Also, Big Mutha Truckers 2. Need I say more?

wow you are a real noob to play ridge racer looking for realism lol. its always been a fun arcade racer with unrealistic cornering speeds and physics. 👍 great fun racing against friends.

Shut the hell up. BMX XXX had boobies in it. How could it be bad?

Not all boobies are good.

No, really. Especially the frighteningly angular ones in BMW XXX.

There is no way that Star Wars:Battlefront is a bad game. Well..I could see where you are coming from if you played it on the Xbox because ninety percent of those games are shooters...but on the PS2 Battlefront 1 and 2 kick ass.
I played Battlefront on the PC. I was comparing to Battlefield 1942 and Call of Duty in which when you play online, you have to use a little thing called tactics, i.e. sneak and cover or duck behind something and so on and so forth. It seemed to me that Battlefront was just rush out and shoot and rinse and repeat.

Also, Test Drive 6 sucked big time. No real improvement over Test Drive 5 plus it crashed every time I finished a race. Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness was also glitchy. In fact, the game didn't even start. I had to wait a couple of days for a patch to come out since the game wouldn't even load at first (and the controls sucked too).

I once had Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo for the PS2. It was just an awful game. None of the controls seemed to do what they were meant to do, and it was impossible to complete the first level, after a month of trying. I thought the PS2 would blow up every time I played it, it made some really odd sounds while in the thing... And the graphics made me feel sick.

Overall,

King Kong. Absolutely terrible game on any console. I started playing it on ps2, then Heather bought it for me for my birthday for the PC (for only $10.00), then I rented it for the xbox360 and beat it. If it wasnt for the achievements on the 360 I would have quit playing this game after the first couple levels. Every level I was just waiting for it to finally get better and it just never happened. Also glitched on all 3 systems.
Not THE worst game I ever played but it is definetly ONE of the worst games in history.
