Real world tracks? I think it would. I can imagine throwing a red shell to Yoshi while going down the Laguna Seca corkscrew.

No bowser castle? No ghost house?

Also, they'd have to be real world kart tracks... otherwise a single lap would take very long. It would ruin it.

Just give Mario Kart a track editor. Then you can make your own Laguna Seca :dopey:

It would not work if you looked at previous Mario Kart games. Not to mention how long each track would be even if you put speed boosts everywhere.

I haven't played much Mario Kart since the N64 game but to me Mario Kart has always been about tracks with jumps, obstacles, strange terrain etc. Real world tracks would just be out of place in the series.

It would be with the original Kart tracks

Real world tracks are boring in comparison. The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca is the only spot remotely outlandish. It wouldn't fit the game at all. Mario Kart has jumps, tunnels, mud pit, lava, volcanos that you reach by being shot through a cannon, etc. No, thanks. I'll take my cruise ships, dinosaurs, and rope bridges over banana peels on the Nordschieffe any day.

Where is the option I would'nt play it either way?

That's the one where you don't vote, skip the thread, and find one that you're actually interested in.

Couldn't agree more.👍
