Would you like a generic cockpit view for standards?

Voted yes. The bumper view isn't truly the bumper, and the "hood" cam is really a roof cam. GT5's most realistic rendering is the cockpit view on premium cars- period.

No, and on a side note it's really annoying with different hood views too. Some are low on the hood like where the glass and hood meet, and some are up on top of the car and you can see the roof. PD, in six years that never crossed your mind?

What does that do but basically acknowledge that cockpit view IS restrictive, nerfed, and needs to have a room to itself otherwise you are at a disadvantage?

GT5 needs a Shift-like Hood Cam, IMO. But it also needs a cockpit cam for EVERY car, even if it is just a generic. Let's look at the alternative... Invisible Car Cam. The MOST unrealistic, arcade-ish view EVER... Roof Cam. Anyone drive sitting on the roof? Didn't think so! Follow cam? PLEASE...!

That 80% of the cars in GT5 have NO way to be driven in cockpit view is (or should be) intolerable. I can't understand how this is being given a pass...

It seems like it's on the hood for some cars, and on the roof for others... don't know why.

At least a camera sitting inside a plain black cockpit would still be a camera where a good number of players want it, and this would take a minimum of effort on PD's part.

Again, if we are talking ignorance you have epitomized with that statement, would a 'plain black cockpit' look correct mounted inside a car that has an all white interior for example? I voted yes for you fellas but for me it doesn't matter anymore. I've stopped playing this weeks ago. This is one of many issues with this game that should have been resolved before release.

I voted yes but I think it would be better if the cockpit view was slightly tailored to each car. For example a correct shape window surround and a correct shape dash. The steering wheel and the rest of the cockpit could be generic. Although not ideal perhaps the side/rear interior views could be sacraficed from the standard cockpit so that PD have enough time to go through all 800 odd cars.

The Fact is, PD is failed, they can't build enough Premium car until GT5 released

I still remember how Kaz face not well during announce GT5 at 2009's E3

BTW, I have one wheel in front of me, I didn't need a Cockpit View which from in-game Driver eyes anyway. But I want another Cockpit View position which can cover my Wheel set in reality.

The current solution of cockpit view adjustment is not fit to me, using FOV to Zooming will reduce sense of speed.

Yeah, But we wouldn't have any of the gauges, I would prefer just the steering wheel removed.
