The WRS is already fun but a bit of variety here and there is always welcomed. I think the format of the race needs to be such that people can still just rock up and race without a partner if they want. That partner race last year on Suzuka was actually my first ever race so I didn't have a partner but I wasn't hindered. It's a good idea 👍
.....the other idea I had was a 3 man team. 1 Division 1, 1 Division 2, 1 Division 3. Althought I doubt the numbers would work so perfectly to achieve that.
Actually... I see a problem here.
While Div1 and Div2 drivers will battle for first place, there's a chance that Div3 drivers will drive slower than they could, simply to be paired with a super-speeder like Holl01, Hotboy, Brad, Colby, etc.
Or, Div1 drivers will underperform, in order to be paired with a better Div3 driver...
That's a problem...
- Teams will be made after this short race is over (So far I haven't figured out how exactly, so keep on posting suggestions.)
Flat-outA short additional race will be posted on September 1st ; MY 22nd BIRTHDAY!
- Short because we'll only have 2 or 3 days to submit a time,
Additional because it will not affect week 71, which will still be run from August 29th to September 5th. Darn, I like week 71...- Submitting a time for this short race will be the entry ticket to the team event ; Can do!

- The following week (72) will be raced as a team event. It's pretty much ready but I'm not gonna say anything about it before it's posted
. You're so
Cyril...
- Racers who don't want to enter a team will still be able to race week 72 as individuals. 👍
- I still don't know how it will affect the leaderboard. I vote let's not let it interfere with it. Just post all the times in one area, along with the people who are not on a team, and then have another area for the team scoring, which is just for our viewing pleasure. I don't think it needs to tie into the hall of fame.
And for the teams (again the easiest way in my mind) is using the regular WRS division rankings and have two, three, or four on a team (not sure which would be the best team size, but that's a different discussion) from the same division. From there, adverage the postitions of the teammates, giving a team score. Or, if you want to keep the current results format, adverage the times of the teammates, then formulating the gold, silver, and bronze times.
Kind of late in the week to be suggesting stuff, but school just started up, and the first six-weeks define how good of a year you will have.
I'd like to have a good senior year, so I've been backing off GT4 a bit.
