Fuji or Valencia?
Takeda Shingen or El Cid?
Fuji

Sears Point or Zahara?
Sears Point is too short and has a few clunky corners (Turn 7)
Zahara is long, but no terrible corners.

They are a bit similar in a way - ups and downs but Zahara has a lake in the middle.
Zahara

Inspired by this and this, the goal of this thread is: post multiple tracks that have appeared in Gran Turismo series (NO BETA TRACKS ALLOWED - different layouts/versions of the same track are allowed) and the other person picks which one they would rather drive (give reasons when possible). ;)

Let's begin with:

Swiss Alps

VS

Eiger Nordwand G Trail

Another Swiss Alps vote.

Seems like an easy one to me, but how about:

Grindelwald

Vs Eiger Nordwand

Matterhorn all the way. Despite not being a old track, its still good.

How about this?
Special Stage Route 11(with the infamous "Death Chicane" turn)

or Special Stage Route 11(without the "Death Chicane" and replacing it with a beautiful garden like straight.)

I prefer old SSR11.

Test Course

or

Special Stage Route X?

Note: i'm counting the GT3 and GT4 one's rather than GT1 and GT2.

Test course, why? while i like the SSRX which has day/night time change and view to the sea and such, the Test course had a nice day weather with that amount of tress and "beauty" Plus nostalgia.

EDIT:

Would you rather:

Fuji Speedway F

or

Circuit de Valencia

I only remember Valencia from Tourist Trophy, it was one of my least favourite tracks in the game so Fuji would be my choice. Also, 80's/90's Fuji > modern day Tilke car park version of Fuji.
Citta Di Aria over Costa de Almalfi as well, though I enjoyed both. GT needs to brind back more narrow street circuits like those.

Alright, would you rather have seen the return of Infineon Raceway
InfineonRacewaySports.jpg

or the addition of Zahara De La Sierra that we had?

Red Rock Valley vs Rome Night
I always had more fun at Rome. RRV was too specific for high speed cars.
Rome Night

Laguna Seca vs Nurburgring at Night with Rain.
So long as I am driving a Gillett Vertigo -
Nurburgring : Damp unt Dark

Red Rock Valley vs Rome Night:
This is a tough one. Maybe Rome Night, it's more interesting. Both are fun, though.
Laguna Seca vs Nürburgring:
Definitely the Nürburgring.

Complex String vs Circuito de la Sierra
Sierra every day of the week.
Actually I never ran Complex String except for a port to Grand Prix Legends... And that was painful when you could be running at a full fat Mexico City or Solitude.
(Sorry I am shocked at how naff the Mexico City 2015 lay out will be.)

Hah, that's mean making me to choose between two tracks I miss the most!! Shame on you!!! ;)👍

I have a tough one for you: :D

El Capitan

el_capitan_165x168.gif

or Trial Mountain?

trial_mountain_165x168.gif

El Capitan, because it is more natural - more like a good road. Whereas Trail Mountain does have some good corners, I hate the long straight and the banked bend after it. But I still love the Lock Ness easter egg! :P

Suzuka West

or

Suzuka East

El Capitan over Cape Ring
Trial Mountain over El Capitan (But that is a mighty close one - split decision.)

Suzuka East Over Suzuka West
East is a very nice flow to it. West has a very weak Degner and the run out of 130R is less frantic as you pile into a boxey hairpin rather than a critical chicane that leads into a big straight.
...
Hold on I am judging them compared to full Fat Suzuka.
A track with a 130R and a Spoon curve - and it still isn't a winner. For me yes. Suzuka East is a better layout.

Special Stage Route 5 vs. Clubman Stage Route 5
Special Stage Route 5

New York vs. Madrid
New York, I like the 90 degree turns.

Chamonix (GT4) vs. Chamonix (GT5)
Chamonix (GT4), because you had to negotiate the patches of asphalt carefully, as you're using snow tyres instead of economy/comfort/sport/racing slicks.
