I haven't done one of these in a while.

I also think this one will be an easy choice, but I may be surprised...

1964 Shelby Cobra with a 289 cubic inch V8

or...

A brand new Factory Five Racing MK4 Roadster with a 427 cubic inch V8?

I'd rather have the 289, because it's a legitimate Shelby. I can see why some people who aren't fans of Shelby's would choose the kit, though. Because it's faster...
289, definitely. First of all, the 289 is, I'm sure, plenty powerful enough fro me. I think it looks very pretty, while the later, more muscular ones do absolutely nothing for me.

They still make the Daytona Coupe?!?! No way!

The modern one is in the picture. I haven't been to dealership in a long time but last time I was there i talked to one of the salesman and he showed me the order form for one. I think it would have cost somewhere in the vicinity of $200,000 (for aluminum bodies). Fiberglass is about $85,000. They didn't have one on the floor but said they ship them and make them as they are ordered. It's not one of the 6 original though.

This is the PDF flyer for the Daytona Coupe. Its the CSX9000 series. If you really want proof you can still buy it, read the fine print on the bottom of the first page.

Shelby GT40s are available as well though they aren't completely the same as the original, only about 85%-90% of the parts on the car are interchangeable with the original GT40s.

Never use the Eleanor name in that manner. :grumpy:

I know right lol. I much prefer the original.

I'd rather have the Juke Nismo in AWD please :)

Hummer H1 vs. a varied of other trucks

I'd rather have the H1

F430 vs. GT3 RS

I'd rather have the Porsche

Golf MK1 GTI vs. Talbot Sumbeam Lotus

Never heard of the Talbot so I'd rather have the GTI

Audi R15 vs. Peugot 908 VS. Lola B09 vs. Lola B08/60 Judd

I'd rather have the 908

'13 BRZ vs. a variety of other cars

I'd rather have the 911 Carrera (996)

1st Gen DBS vs. 2nd Gen DBS

2nd Gen for me...

Muira P400 SV/J vs. Aventador LP 720-4

I'd actually rather haev the Muira inspite of it possibly being more difficult to maintain than the Aventador.

'64 Shelby Cobra (289) vs. Factory Five MK4 Roadster

I'd rather have the '64

2013 Honda CR-V EX-L (AWD) MSRP: $28,795

2013 Toyota RAV4 Limited (AWD) MSRP: $28,410

Original Shelby 289 vs Shelby Kit 427 - I don't like the way the 289 looks, so kit it is! Also, why wouldn't I take a modern remake of a classic? It will handle better, be more of a daily driver and be cheaper to maintain (probably).

1. Shelby Kit
2. Original Shelby

Toyota RAV4 vs Honda CR-V - I quite like the CR-V, surprisingly, however it does not look as good as the RAV4. My guess is that the Honda will drive better, as I've not heard good things about the RAV4. So... Honda it is.

1. Honda CR-V
2. Toyota RAV4

Rav-4. We have a 2012 CR-V EX-L AWD. A high pitched whining noise starting occurring at 2k miles. Every idea of what it was turned out to be wrong. The transmission had a major failure at 8k miles and there are rattles everywhere. Honda ended up taking the transmission out to study it and putting a new one in. After this, the A/C started to go out. 19k miles now and the car is falling apart. Not what Honda used to be people. Honda even said other people have issues...

^ Yes way. You can configure it anyway you can if you have the $$$$$$. ;)

-> Well...being here in Vegas, we have a Shelby American factory (for building the Mustang's). I can just walk in and order a nice gunmetal gray Daytona Coupe and wait for a few months to get it! :sly:

1964 Shelby 289 Cobra vs Factory 5 427 Cobra; The 1964 Cobra, because it's the original.

Honda CR-V vs Toyota Rav4; The Rav4 actually, I think it's a bit better looking than the Honda.

Honda CR-V EXL AWD vs. Toyota RAV4 - 2 annoyingly ugly small SUVs....RAV4, looks less outdated.

Results:
1. Toyota RAV4
2. Honda CR-V EXL

180SX vs Savanna RX-7 - Easily the 180SX. I would take a 180SX over almost any other JDM car of its class, including S15s, RX-7s, Evos, Imprezas, AE86s and perhaps even a Supra. I prefer the newer models of the 180SX, but a 180SX is a 180SX. I love the styling and engine!

1. 180SX
2. Savanna RX-7

Orignal Shelby for sure. With that being said I will build a Factory 5 car one of these days.

Mini Suvs I cannot say since I dislike both so I will go CR-V

FC RX7 for sure I love those cars.

CR-V. It looks better, handles better, is spacious and luxurious.

Custom878
1989-90 Nissan 180SX (CA18DET)

or...

1989-92 Mazda RX-7 (Series 5 13B)
180SX. Beautiful car if lowered properly, turbo'd, given nice body kit, and painted red with BBS LM DBK 19" Rims.

Nissan 180SX vs. Mazda RX-7 - RX-7, too easy. It's way rarer.

Results:
1: Mazda RX-7
2: Nissan 180SX

A car that was sold in multiple countries in similar trim is rarer than a car that was never exported (atleast not with a bunch of japan only stuff)? :dunce:

Also its:
180SX: 4 (including me)
RX-7: 4

We need a tie breaker.

FC Mazda RX-7 vs Nissan 180SX; The Mazda RX-7, the 180sx doesn't interest me that much.

Here's one from me and it'll be a bit random.

BMW M3 e36 Lightweight, Ford RS200, SRT Viper, or the Jaguar XJR?

I think these are within similar price figures (90-120k).

The BMW and Ford are out because they're as interesting to me as a pile of dirt.

That leaves the SRT and the Jag. The SRT will be the fastest, but the Jag will be the most luxurious (while still being very quick). I think I'd have to choose the Jag.

BMW M3 Lightweight vs. Ford RS200 vs. SRT Viper vs. Jaguar XJR - This is really hard. I love all of them. I'll take the Ford out because it's not as interesting to me as the other ones, although I still like it a lot. I'll take the SRT out because it's only practical for performance. I'll take the XJR because it's new, fast, luxurious, looks good (the others do as well, though), and it has space.

Results:
1. Jaguar XJR
2. BMW M3 Lightweight
3. SRT Viper
4. Ford RS200

True. I guess I was linking it to the 240SX (which you see 2 of every single time you go out.) But I don't see many RX-7s around here.
